Really good quality final for break building this, Higgins responds with a century.

Selby should have enough to edge with his 2 frame lead but the momentum can change so quickly

Absolutely disgusting run of the balls in the last few frames won the match for higgins. Good brake in the last frame but awful being a Selby fan.

Hes got into a habit of losing matches from ahead as well. Many times this season been leading and lost.

The curse of Ding Junhui strikes again.

Unreal turnaround from Higgins though, from dropping outside the Top 16 in September, to now going to The Crucible as 3rd seed.

Blimey, seven frames in a row 🤯🤯

Blimey, five frames in a row 🤯🤯

The positive for Selby is that nobody has ever won the tour championship then at the crucible next up.

Brecel down 38 places to 45th in the updated World rankings, done bugger all in the last 2 years has he, when many fancied him to kick on.

He was on course to drop out of the top 64 at this stage but had a couple of decent tournaments earlier this year to keep his head above water.

I think he's simply not as arsed as he was pre World Championship win

Got to feel sorry for the poor top 32 player who gets Xintong in their bracket, seems to be Slessor who's had a half decent season by his standards.

Couldn’t find anything earlier but just looked again.

Shocking and disgusting if guilty, if that’s the case, hope he gets sent down for a good while.

Even if found not guilty, I don't think there is any recovering from your name being linked to them sort of offences. Must be difficult to prove something that happened 30 years ago but I guess there must be sufficient evidence for it to go to court.

Probably get off Scott free like Huw Edwards now if he wrote something on social media like Lucy Connelly he would be looking at some serious jail time

5-4 down after the first session in second round qualifying.

Maybe it won't be one way traffic with him after all.

No Lisowski at The Crucible this year, Zak Surety beats him 10-8, excellent scoring from Surety at 8-6 down.

Fu makes a rare 16 red clearance (139 total)...can see it here.

Jimmy white loses a frame on the '3 miss rule' but wins 10-9 beating an amateur 42 years his junior, he loses in the next round.

Gilberts opponent docked a frame for being late after the interval.  Gilbert won 10-6.

Walden wins from 7-1 down, and twice needing a snooker in the deciding frame.

Sorry if I have missed it but is the World Championship still on the BBC? I have seen TNT adverts for it but I presume they have taken over the Eurosport coverage?
