I'd rather kiss a sworn enemy on the mouth than have us appoint Sean Dyche

you don't fancy us whining about budgets and asking Shefi Kuqi if he fancies coming out of retirement?

The problem is that I'm not sure if anyone trusts the clubs recruitment, either.  Hopefully they've realised that going for surplus PL players doesn't seem to work if you want to stay in the league itself.  PLayers like Fatawu/BEK/Mads are a good start, but we possibly need too many like that to really stay up right now, and that's the issue.  Having said that, it's only possibly, because if we score the chances we've had recently, we'd have less problems to talk about, so, a striker than can do that would seem to be the main thing we need RIGHT NOW...

The way I see this season is

  • We lucked out getting Enzo along with it being the Championship and easier so we got promoted, but we were not prepared as a club to do so due to past mistakes (duff transfers, stupid wages, etc)
  • The club was/is in a place of hubris and has been for quite some time
  • We are now in the stages of cleaning house (from these mistakes)
  • Understood some of the need for some experience this season, but it still felt choices were made and scattergun
  • We have not fully forgotten how to scout, look at Bilal

I actually think we are seeing the end of a cycle (Or maybe the start of the next) where the fallout that began after mistakes following our league win are reaching their conclusion.

Not one Leicester player gets in Fulham’s starting 11, play this match 10 times Fulham win 8 - let’s hope we fluke something today

I don’t want Ayew starting but the Brighton lad was horrendous second half. He has a habit of doing way too much and losing the ball. Saying all that I think I would still prefer him starting over Ayew

People moan about the strength of our bench and then complain when there's no change to the starting XI.

The manager's hands are pretty tied, no matter who it is.

It was pretty much the lineup I was expecting. We actually haven’t performed that badly the last couple of games. Just need a couple of chances to go in. Bit sad to see humanity’s rested but he kept running into blind avenues last game. Ayew is mart and holds the ball up well. I’d prefer facundo but can understand why. As for Vardy well he has defied the odds throughout his career. I’d rather have him on the end of chances than anyone else and his all round game has been good. Bit of luck and we can win this.

Ayew instead of Buonanotte so we are going to try and win by creating less chances brilliant

The last goal we scored in the league was created by Ayew. 🤷🏻‍♂️

From our lineups today, I agree not a single Leicester player gets in that Fulham side, Bilal with the best shout, maybe for Wilson.

Silva is a great coach, we will lose by at least 2 goals imo.

Why does it seem like we are the only club that can sign someone and not be available right away?

Do other teams just announce it when it's all finalised?

Our DoF is Jon Rudkin.

And the one before that literally was Ayew.

Fallout following our league win ? Which one PL or Champ because the PL win and the mistakes thereafter were some time ago and club has achieved and ironed out maybe of those mistakes in the windows and business that followed.

If it’s relegation, in the summer we lumbered ourselves with a 3 year deal for Vestegaard. Hired a manager completely alien to the players within the squad. Signed aging and quite frankly expensive players (for their value) and spunked £22m on Skipp who offers us nothing. If anything we’ve doubled down on mistakes not remedied previous problems.

Nothing has been learnt at all. We do it on repeat.

Fulham warming up with intent and concentration. Leicester playing ‘who can nutmeg someone for mad bantzzz’

We are getting spanked today.

so we'll replace the guy who runs down blind alleys with the guy who can't run or even do up his shoelaces.

Daka obviously, he's a competent enough lower half striker given a run and a fanbase not getting on his back at every hint of an opportunity

In the first para you describe perfectly a comparison which should generate a 'meh' response. Not one that should leave me thinking picking one over the other is 'shit', or as others would have it, 'an outrage/unfathomable'.

I have no particular issue with Daka starting - I'd love him to come good. But he in no way could be described as being 'in form' himself. I am not convinced he would be getting the chances Vardy has been (while conceding he can generate other, less noticeable, benefits). I am convinced that it's not a remotely bizarre call to think perhaps Patson Daka is not the solution to our inability to finish our chances.

Every match I look forward to seeing the starting line up and then remember our team is absolute shite. I keep hoping one day we pick a strong side but that's not likely anytime soon. Garbage
