Prisons are full. Avoid sending offenders to prison.

 

There are educational courses in juvenile detention centres, so the excuse of the custodial sentence is bollox.

 

Lots of kids have tough upbringings and can be very difficult to control/discipline but they don't go on to murder someone.

Jeez people, have some compassion for these poor children being brought up in poverty and difficult circumstances.

 

They should be at home with their parents right now, getting free school meals. Or better, be on holiday in the Med for educational purposes.

This being said, with this in the US and Zia Yusuf in the UK, it's not been a bad day all round.
