We can't afford to spend anything Cannon has covered Ruud and the new RB, that's you're lot.

Incorrect, we’ve got about £15m to spend before selling Cannon. The January market is extremely difficult to operate in. You’re either overpaying for players, or signing players out of form. Plus our squad was at full capacity. So, that doesn’t leave much room to quick business.

I think the transfer page is a waist of time.  I would wager with anyone we do not sign another player In this window or that will cost more than 10p

well we have Rudkin as DoF,

at times the guy looks like he couldnt open a smart phone let alone conduct transfers

hes out of his depth massively now, market/football has changed, he hasnt, hes probably still using a pager too

There was I thinking Miguel Almiron would be signing the dotted line this window at some point but with two days left (?), highly unlikely!!

We haven’t had squad space. We’ve needed to move players on to free places up. We have now done that and have one slot.

Eduoard has been a total waste of a space but to send him back to Palace is going to cost us £5,000,000 apparently. We’ve can’t loan anyone else from the Premier League without sending him or Buonanotte back.

We are struggling to attract players to join us and are stuck in the waiting games queue.

Surely we gotta do something, it’s a joke, utter shit written daily about being linked with this player / that player , all bullshit

Just checking you’ve not missed the entire last three years and us struggling to pass PSR continually?

I'm going to imagine that given our current status as a relegation candidate and the calibre of player we likely want that we're keeping things very quiet so any potential deals don't get hijacked by more attractive suitors. As we saw plenty of times in the summer.

We’re looking for overseas loan deals for high quality players who will immediately improve our starting 11 and whose current clubs are willing to let them go in the middle of the season. That’s a very small market we’re targeting and lots of other clubs are shopping in the same place.

We got less .....

dough than a Pizza Hut

tenners than an opera

jacks than a deck of cards

green than a golf course

We've already signed someone, we've paid off a manager (again), and we're rumoured to be after at least one more... what were you expecting?

Groundhog day again, another manager in, told there was funds for players (he said this himself in a documented interview), then it comes down to it, funds aren't actually there, need to sell before we can buy, etc etc, PSR is an issue blah blah. We end the window arguably weaker than we started it.

Fear not, this is the window we signed Molla Wague and Tete so Rudkin has previous, he's got an ace up his sleeve

And Ryan Bennett when we were chasing down a champions league spot.

The funds probably are there. The problem is more likely the lack of players who are both: a) of the right standard to improve the squad; and b) willing to join us.

No-one is, even Villa are selling and theyre in the last 16 in the Euro thing. PSR has crippled everyone and the only players out there are duds.

Talk amongst Villa fans who I work with is that it's simply a silly transfer fee for a headache of a player.

Funds are required to secure loan deals too. And loans make more sense in this window anyway given that we don't know what division we'll be in next season.

Oh come on. So you think it's acceptable for the club to say "yeah funds are available" to a manager at the interview stage, then a couple of months later go "yeah we only meant for loans haha gotcha"?
