Insane he hasn’t been sacked today

If (and I realise it’s a big ‘if’) we’re close to finalising any transfers before the deadline tomorrow night, it might make things a bit trickier if we sack the manager during the last stages of negotiations…

Christ.

It's like applauding a chef in a restaurant who hasn't cooked your food and still applauding them for the effort.

They are like seals at the zoo.

I think they really don't know what to do now.

Yep I’m sure that’s the case - what a complete and utter crap show this season has turned into - Saturday was a disgrace - 8 prem defeats in 9 - unbelievable even for us that he is still in a job

Almost as bad as clapping the team when we got relegated, could not believe what I were seeing

I thought that was a particularly moving moment (the relegation after the MON years) - we were clapping the years that had gone before. Edit - I just realised you were talking about a couple of years ago - yes - that was brain dead.

I didn't go yesterday, but surely some of the applause was pure sarcasm ?

Absolute state of that. People like this think they are supporting the club when they are actually helping towards the clubs downfall.

I have a friend, a successful wealthy guy around 60, that goes home and away, and “gets behind the lads, rain or shine”.

He genuinely thinks he’s a “proper fan” / “loyal supporter” clapping and singing however poor we play, and however badly the club is run.

He hears me moaning about Top / Rudkin and shakes his head (a bit like Top did actually) and looks down at me from his superior supporter pedestal… He really can’t see that he’s the problem!

It's a sad mess we are in. It does tend to be the older fans that fall into this category. Alot of them feel like they are superior as they've "supported" the club for 40-50 years. I've heard stuff like "bet you don't remember the Pleat years" "we've been in worse positions" "we were in league 1 once" etc etc. It's almost as if they don't care what league we are in. Club could be in the national league getting slapped by York, and they'd still be happy with Top and Rudkin. Bring out the free beer and donuts. "Best owners ever". Genuinely makes me sick.

If only these fans actually piped up at home games and made our ground loud. Do they **** though. It's all a moral highground thing to them.

Nothing about fans being refunded, players obviously believe they gave it a good go yesterday.

Anyone still prepared to pay to see KPFC deserve every ounce of misery. None of them deserve a refund. They are perpetuating the whole clown show.

I have only just watched the goals this morning. I was expecting it to be bad but somehow I am completely shocked at what I have just seen.

I wouldn’t expect to see that level of defending from a non-league side against a premier league side in the cup. There are absolute basics that kids do when defending. I really can’t get my head around it.

Faes and Vestergard are bad but come on, they aren’t that bad. I can only come to the conclusion it is intentional. Making a point? Match fixing?

… yeah, they were really shocking that the only way to make sense of these mistakes is that they were intentional I guess, you are right

On the day I thought we were the better team until the first goal went in.

That's class and should have been RVN post match comments

I think quite a lot on here must have mates like this or family members. There are a sizeable proportion who do so, so must be common for many.
