Think Hermansen/VK/Soumare/Ndidi/Winks would be more than enough to cover the incomings

What's funny is you think we would make 2 new signings šŸ˜‚

At this point i'm fed up with most of the squad so i'm honestly down to get rid of the majority of them and just give the promising academy players all the playing time next season as a way to see who's good enough and just reset the club a bitĀ

Give Danny Rohl:Ā

JakubĀ

Iversen 1 year dealĀ

KristiansenĀ

CoulibalyĀ

Justin

Coady

Nelson

Okoli

Vestergaard (stuck with him)

Souttar

WinksĀ

Skipp

Bdcr

Ayew

Fatawu

AlvesĀ

Mavididi

Daka (if we can’t offload him)Ā

Ā

And a couple of competition places and he gets us promoted.Ā
Ā

Faes out,Ā

Vardy retires or leaves,Ā

Ndidi will go to a better club in a top European league,Ā

Bilal and Mads will make us £70m

if Okoli goes for £10m then so be it

Bouba will attract a few teams given his improvement this season.Ā
Ā

I wouldn’t be surprised to see us make Ā£100m in sales in summer and be able to bring a couple of cheap recruits in, Ward finally off the wage book.Ā
Ā

I know it’s doom and gloom, and we might end up with a points deduction, if it’s not too harsh, Big Danny can get a squad with this quality into the playoffs.Ā
Ā

Time to Rohl the dice.

Really though, coming straight back up was the worst thing that could have happened to us wasn't it?

Ā

Cut short the chronic rebuild job that was required after the malaise of the Rodgers era. We probably need 2-3 years in the doldrums to start to build a core of players that actually give a shit about representing LCFC, led by a spine from the academy.

This club is going to be down for a while... we shipped our youth to numerous clubs on loan, rather than playing them and taking a beating... but at least getting top flight wallops... and still our FCKING DOF remains... hope Ruud walks, leaves us without help as has been done to him, and Maresca rips TOP in the media...Ā

It's a terrible league and to be honest even with these crooks in charge I still think we'd have to really fumble it to finish outside of the top six - but you never know.

Ā

Think Ipswich will likely walk it. Southampton will probably get 2nd. Think Birmingham will be pushing towards the upper end as well. Whoever misses out of Burnley/Sunderland too invariably.

Ā

The away games have more variety - I'll give it that.

I think you can add Ricardo, Ndidi and Coady to that squad too. Don’t think we’ll receive a big enough offer to sell them.Ā
Wouldn’t be surprised if Vardy stayed around too.Ā
It’s a more than good enough squad, especially with a couple of additions to be challenging up near the top. Take off the relegated teams each season in the Championship and there really isn’t much else.Ā

I see it like this.

Ā

I’m not convinced we’ll spend a load in an effort to get back up. We’ll spend another year stabilising the finances and utilise the younger players as squad / backup.Ā

Ā

We can again trim the wage bill for next season as I believe that Iversen, Ward and Vardy leave on free transfers. That alone generates / saves nearly Ā£8m per annum in wages. We don’t need 4 goalkeepers.Ā

Ā

We’ve sent a large number of our academy players out on loan to gain football league experience. This will give us an indication on who is, then who isn’t ready to make the next step into life in the championship next season.Ā
Ā

Alves, Braybrooke, Cover, Young, Nelson, MarƧal, Raikhy, Opuku, Popov, Ewing, Wilson-Brown, will now all have played football away from the club this season. If they don’t make the grade, we sell to a an adequate standard then move on.Ā

Ā

I believe Monga leaves as soon as he is 16 in July.Ā
Ā

With the likes of, Choudhury, Thomas and McAteer still at the club, we’ll also have people to come back in as backup players. Who will be on less than people who have had massive moves to join us.Ā
Ā

Ā

We’ll use the youth players as backup, rather than buying players.Ā
Ā

Hermansen, Soumare, Ndidi, Coady, Kristiansen, Faes, Okoli, Winks, Justin and and maybe even Skipp are sold, to generate further funds. I see that we might keep El Khannous, as apparently his wages aren’t massive and his value will only increase.

Ā

Fatawu stays as he’s fresh off an injury. Could be go next Jan? Maybe.Ā

Ā

The squad I believe will look something like this.

Ā

GK - Stolarkzyk, Young, Bausor

Ā

LB - Thomas, Justin

RB - Coulibaly, Ricardo

CB - Vestergaard, Nelson, Souttar, Wilson-Brown

Ā

CM - El Khannous, Cartwright, Ewing, Golding,Ā
RM - Mavididi, McAteer

LM - Fatawu, Alves,Ā

Ā

FW - Reid, Ayew, Daka, Opuku

Ā

The reality is that a first XI could be semi decent, we get injuries and we’ll be struggling. Mass clear out of the high earners in a squad that is bloated with average players is required though. It’s just going to be a bit painful.Ā

Do I think we’ll win a cup again? Probably not.

Ā

But do I think we’ll get European football again? Yes - 100%.

I think you are right on the European football again, I’ve heard whispers they are bringing back the Anglo-Italian cup as well!

That's a big IF. There's certainly no guarantee we get a hefty points deduction. Without that we would probably be around 5/1 favourites to win the league. Ipswich maybe 11/2 and Southampton 8/1. Burnley/ Sheff Utd 10/1.

Thanks for the exact odds. Off down the bookiesĀ

Unfortunately for me, I think we stay down for 2 or 3 seasons. Just hope if we do we can carry the weight of the financial loss of EPL money, which I doubt we can.

Ā

But, we will have to use it as an opportunity to get rid of all the high earners, deadwood and players that don't want to be here and go back to finding gems and blooding the youth, and learn from our mistakes of recent yearsĀ

So as the transfer window concludes and the level of blithering incompetency from Rudkin and KPFC reaches new level. It's pretty much nailed on we will be relegated this year as the squad is not good enough. Wolves should pull away in the coming weeks. Every team is strengthened, no not us. How dare KPFC trot out shit like 'Foxes Never Quit' this is utter surrender and sink without trace. I think this season is done, it's not even worth worrying about as clearly the pathetic losers at the club don't want to even try to stay up.Ā

Ā

What's needs to happen for next season, how will we do and will we ever be back?Ā

The lessons from two years ago need learning first - a full overhaul of those running the club, a new CEO that is allowed to be a CEO, a new DoF with fresh energy, and above all, a clear strategy for the type of club we aspire to be.

Ā

Anything else is papering over cracks.

A lot will come down to who we can shift at the end of the season.

Ā

Mads and Bilal the two players who have quality and are saleable.

Ā

Okoli, Faes, Ndiddi, Soumane - I can possibly see some interest.

Ā

Vardy, Ward, Iverson out of contract (Iverson might stay but I can’t see him wanting to be a back-up keeper).

Ā

So a lot of players who are clearly not the future - Vesty, Coady, Ayew, Hamza, BDR, Daka etc. Ā

Ā

there is a lot of youth coming through but a lot is unproven - you can also only really play it if we free up space in the squad. Ā We need to get down to a squad of about 20 players.Ā

Oh you’re more than welcome. You’ll have to wait until May, but that’s the kind of odds you’ll be getting.Ā
I’m afraid you won’t get the kind of odds the doom and gloom merchants obviously think we should be.Ā

I’m not so sure you can make any judgement call on where we’ll finish next season currently.Ā

Ā

We’ll be significantly worse than the team that came back up last time.Ā
Ā

It’s clear Daka most likely won’t be here, then Vardy retires. Who’s scoring the goals?
Ā

Ā

We've got this lad call Tom...oh shit Rudkin you ****

You’ll probably get 50/1 on us getting relegated, so you can waste your money on that if you like!Ā

Relegated from the Championship, I'd say there us a good chance if we keep the same clueless bellends in position at the club, which let's face it we most likely will. We will have to hope Rudkin the **** stumbles on a manager that isn't a complete and utter halfwitsĀ

Well, there will be around a 2% chance of us getting relegated. I wouldn’t call that a good chance.Ā

2% based on what? There's really no facts to work with other than that we have incompetence and malaise ingrained throughout the club. We'd have to see what players we have and what manager we have.

Ā

One thing we can be certain of is we won't be in the Premier League for some time.

Posted

Given the PSR concerns you have to genuinely be worried about our ability to be active in the transfer market in the summer - and then there's the potential for the EFL to place us under an embargo.

Ā

Still lots of deadwood to try and get rid of which, as ever, will be a massive challenge for our recruitment team / DofF

Ā

We have to build around a spine ofĀ

Stolarczyk (mads will be sold before June 30)

Ben Nelson

Alves

Maybe Braybrooke alongside Ndidi but expect his agent will try and move him on in summer

Fatawu (assuming due to injury he isn't sold)

Not. A. Chance. In. Hell.

Smart money on straight through Championship to Div 1 ( and beyond).

Empty extended stadium, Empty HotelĀ  Empty executive flats. Seagrave in mothballs, can't afford to run. Time to sell up Top and concentrate on Polo.
