It's lunch time, it's cold, you've got a freshly baked potato, a tin of beans and the necessary six tonnes of grated cheese. 

 

How are you assembling this?

Don't like beans but seems logical to me to always put cheese on last, i.e. carbs, 'sauce', cheese.

Putting the cheese on top might look more appealing but then you just lose the cheese everywhere and the potato sees none of it.

Tell you what is world class on a potato, some Kerrygold butter - extra salt and pepper then lashings of proper coronation chicken (not the gammy sandwich filler you get) 

 

Maybe top it with some grated black bomber cheese

Can I edit my vote? I assumed you were talking about beans on toast in which case I would go with cheese on top of beans.

 

But I would go with cheese under beans on a jacket spud.
