For exactly this sort of thing.

Three clubs currently in the PL have frozen prices thanks to success fan group campaigning.

It's 4 now, as West Ham announced a freeze today and have also backtracked on removing concessions, so a real win for the fan groups involved.

The Trust has issued an open letter to LCFC. Making tickets affordable and attainable will help build the next generation of supporters.

Trust Calls for Ticket Price Freeze – Foxes Trust

Fair point - but talk about fiddling whilst Rome burns.

How about helping project reset drive the horrific foursome out of our club

• The Trust is calling on the Club to return to the ticket pricing structure used for the 2023/24 season, if it transpires that the club is relegated to the Championship.

Apologies if you have done so but make it public that you’ve asked them. Plaster a statement on here, social media, local media, even national media stating that the ticket prices need reducing. Apply a bit of pressure.

It’s on here, social media and has been shared with local press. If you go back to the original post, the Trust article linked there provides access to the letter that has been sent to the club in full openness and transparency.

Is it really a win? If it's anything like here, prices are already extortionate so it's just asking for more of the same

How about an open letter demanding for changes on the board, to the staff, to the processes that many fans have become disillusioned with? You should actually gauge the feelings and feedback of the fans just from reviewing threads on here, then use your platform to actually engage the club on things that actually matter. Not fuxking pukka pies and fan zones

I’m so detached and priced out I couldn’t care less now, but for those still interested, a price freeze isn’t the answer. The prices in the championship were obscene last season, they need a £20 ticket to entice people to watch this absolute dross not a bloody price freeze.

I know people love a pile on with the foxes trust at every opportunity but they’re actively trying to push for something positive here.

If the club don’t listen then it backs up a big part of why a lot of people are protesting.

There’s been plenty of times that being critical of the FT has been justified but this isn’t one for me. In fact I think it shows the deep rooted feelings towards them and I think going by this that it’ll be a long and slow journey to start changing people’s opinions.

People seem blinkered with hate towards them, give the new guys on the board a chance to start making things better, this is a good start.

Exactly this. I’m wondering if many people commenting here have actually read the full letter.

If Union FS had released the same letter, pushing for the same kind of protections for fans, would the reaction be the same as we’re seeing here?

Is this call applicable to every section and demographic of supporters including hospitality? Have you actually calculated the drop in revenue. Given inflation and the drop in TV revenue what will be the impact on footballing operations. I get the desire but this will impact what and who we recruit. I am happy to not be in the Premier League but does that apply to other supporters. Let’s cut income but also recognize with it comes reductions in expectations. Luckily we will get rid of 14 million in wages at least but that will be replaced at a lower rate.remember

our PSR compliance also drops by 20 million. This is probably at least 3 years in the Championship to put right

That’s the clubs problem to manage. Not the fans. Fans shouldn’t be paying for the boards incompetent

For info, the TV deal for the EFL is approx £60m per year more than it was on our last season in it

Are you re-lying for the Trust as it seems a number of the questions posed went unanswered. I get that people think the owner who is the board is incompetent. Yes EFL revenue may be higher but is lower than the EPL. The PSR hurdle is harder. It’s easy to say reduce prices but it has consequences do you accept the.?

I’ll just say here, credit to @CosbehFox who did a lot of work on this and was a big driving force behind the Trust taking this approach.

Agree, good to see someone taking the bull by the horns rather than just moaning on Foxestalk like 99% of others.
