I'll raise my head above the trenches and state I think this is a robust and effective letter, a fans group standing up for the fans in a structured manner. Spotted an issue, consulted its members then providing a solutions driven and realistic next step via a public release.

Presumably this has a lot to do with the new board members working alongside the existing board, thanks, keep it up!

Are you re-lying for the Trust as it seems a number of the questions posed went unanswered. I get that people think the owner who is the board is incompetent. Yes EFL revenue may be higher but is lower than the EPL. The PSR hurdle is harder. It’s easy to say reduce prices but it has consequences do you accept the.?

No I’m doing it on my personal opinion in reply to yourself.

The club managed promotion on the same ticket prices, with a lower TV income on the previous EFL deal and a greater wage bill to pay for.

Doesn't asking for a price freeze suggest the current prices are ok?

@Foxes_Trust do you feel the current match day prices are ok?

Personal opinion - no but the position to advocate lowering them is severely challenged that we had sell outs back in 2023/24 and again on occasions this year.

Just to make clear to, the letter calls on 'if the case of relegation, prices return to 23/24 figures.

We're going back to the days of kids that are Leicester fans will be the only one in their classroom. Growing up it was all, Liverpool, Man U (spit), Arsenal etc. Now my sons age kids, 7 or 8 out of 10 are Leicester fans. I'm afraid that King Power has royally F'ed up.

They chose the corporate ‘fan’ at the clubs height of success, like the fair weather ones that filled the stadium at the Everton match to the detriment of actual members. Success built on the shoulders and work of others now long since gone. Now the wheels have fallen off they’ve managed to alienate thousands of long suffering but loyal fans (£25 for physical ST etc) who now themselves feel distanced from their beloved team. By the looks of it lots are considering cancelling their season ticket.

And the fans of the future will definitely be harder to attract, even with ticket price freezes. We need more than just platitudes.

It's not bad news I suppose.

Pricing is all about supply and demand, at this moment, the club can keep the prices for next season the same because numptys like me will live in the hope that we get promoted.

If we don't get promoted next season, it will get interesting

I just come to these threads for a @RYM dismantling.

I'm still waiting on a reply from an email I sent the Trust two weeks ago. Ian refused to reply as he said the committee needs to!!!!!!

This isn't a dismantling post for the sake of it at all, but more facts based on experience either side of the fence I guess....

I think it's a very easy letter to send. It looks nice and looks like they want to hold the club accountable publicly so that ticks a box and they will no doubt be patting their backs this morning.

The contradictions come while they continue to sit on the fan panels and FAB and all that nonsense and just tickle Anthonys balls under the table. So if I am in Anthony's role I know the letter is just a bit of noise and there will be absolutely zero consequence if they put the prices up again. A few people won't renew maybe, but next season at least, there will be people waiting to get an ST.

All the club care about is "maximising the matchday revenue ceiling". Based on that alone and if I was them in their current mindset, I'd put them up again now before we settle in the EFL for good. I personally don't like the idea of that at all, but those at the club are here for their CV's not for us lot. They know that nobody is going to hold them accountable or make enough noise to make a difference. It's all very, very easy to silence.

The club have zero care about the future fans (it goes beyond prices). I've spoken on here and directly to the trust in my time there about the EFL Famlily Excellence awards and how these are designed to test / expose the club's long term strategy on future fans and on attracting and retaining families. LCFC failed miserably with a terrible assessment last time out because the culture has always been to sell more widgets in Thailand now (the reason Imogen Ward was appointed), rather than have a family spend £100's for the next 40/50 years. The @Foxes_Trust promised me they would challenge the club on this in the summer after my guidance but I've not seen anything since.

It's a tough one for @CosbehFox as he is there for the right reasons (we chat lots off here) but IMO he has no backing for now, and the other clowns on the board seem happy for him to put himself out there to be shot at. They have the ability to make him look shit and they will do just that if they need to.

So in summary, it's easily quashable noise that the club may or may not acknowledge but will then revert back to the "Fan engagement framework" that ironically, the same people agreed to!!

Fans should be compensated for the sheer incompetence and mismanagement of the Board that will have resulted in our 2nd relegation in 3 seasons. I therefore expect a reduction in prices not a freeze!

Have you read the letter? Exactly what has been asked for…

Missed the line: "The Trust is calling on the Club to return to the ticket pricing structure used for the 2023/24 season, if it transpires that the Club is relegated to the Championship."

So fair enough!

Would The Trust be willing to put forward the fans concerns regarding perceived incompetence at board level? I’m sure there are more than enough fans that’d like to see it out forward.

Good letter. Go on, Foxes Trust, deliver it by hand on relegation day: ‘My name is Foximus Trustius Supporterus, commander of volunteers, general of hardworking people and loyal servant to the true owner, the fans. Father of your £25 mess, husband to Union FS in that director disasterclass and you have treated us like customers this season so we demand second-rate product prices in the next.’

A freeze is bullshit.

£20 is plenty.

This.

2013/14 they were doing kids for a quid for the low grade matches. That's been abandoned since they started milking fans for every penny. They're even reluctant to go general sale  these days and even then you need a booking history.

No kid would go near this club right now, they need to start realising what an utter mess they're creating and the toxic atmosphere around any statement or update they give out. They're alienating fans week by week and pricing out future generations. And talking to them about honesty flags and Pukka Pies doesn't cut it.

"Ticket price freeze". Should be reduced with the shite that is being served up.

We might be in the Premiership but what we have had to put up with this season has been nothing short of diabolical.

Any other club, putting the prices up with the disgraceful way we've been run would be suicide. But our happy clappy fanbase would probably pay double.
