UniFox21 Posted 7 July 2025 Posted 7 July 2025 O'Neil is a brilliant coach, managing is where things go badly after a year or so. Hopefully he's learnt a thing or two
Dan Posted 7 July 2025 Posted 7 July 2025 Called O'Neil months ago. That's my level of faith in our board.
kingpowerout Posted 7 July 2025 Posted 7 July 2025 (edited) pathetic - you ask ANY Wolves fan and they will tell you he cannot manage a squad of players. He can coach but that's about it Edited 7 July 2025 by kingpower
Tomek Posted 7 July 2025 Posted 7 July 2025 (edited) It genuinely hope KP goes it to receivership. I’ve never had so much hate for a group of people in my life. Edited 7 July 2025 by Tomek 2
foxfanazer Posted 7 July 2025 Posted 7 July 2025 Even Dyche doesn't fancy us Just delete the club and start again 1
AKCJ Posted 7 July 2025 Posted 7 July 2025 Gary O'Neil is so much worse than I could have imagined. 1

I've posted elsewhere I think Dyche's brand of football and playing philosophy wouldn't suit our current crop of players and unlikely promote the use and development of our youth players, who on Saturday showed more about themselves than the so called senior players. We would be going back to Cooper Days with experience and journeymen who have no resale value if we do make any transfers, or stuck playing Vesty, Faes, BdCR come the start of the season.
Bluearmyfox28 Posted 7 July 2025 Posted 7 July 2025 Tbh I take Dorsett’s word as well. The club clearly like him, they had him doing the whole Vardy farewell gig.
kingpowerout Posted 7 July 2025 Posted 7 July 2025 what is this "Rohl is too complicated" BS!? What does that even mean???
frany104 Posted 7 July 2025 Posted 7 July 2025 Gary O'Neil..... The club is a joke. We are done until KP sell up.

EnderbyFox Posted 7 July 2025 Posted 7 July 2025 Wasn't there pretty much a player mutiny before he got booted out of Wolves? Just the man management skills we need to handle our squad
Realist Guy In The Room Posted 7 July 2025 Posted 7 July 2025 Why are they making it so hard to support the club?? That appointment would be such a kick in the balls.

Just the man management skills we need to handle our squad yeah, the likes of Cunha and some of the other high profile players had him wrapped around their fingers by all accounts, which is exactly what we don't need now. Vesty and Co will have a field day with him Edited 7 July 2025 by kingpower
TrickyTrevLeftPeg Posted 7 July 2025 Posted 7 July 2025 Decent coach but not a very good manager. The problem is all our options apart from Rohl won't be liked by the fan base..Dyche, wilder and O'Neil just lack any type of positivity. We're on to a loser whoever we get. It's just a question of who. The first issue is the club won't look abroad or go for anything remotely creative. The second issue is we as a fan base shouldn't be standing for this. Should be protest and up roar but come season start and get given few beers and doughnuts 90% of the fan base will forget all about it. The club is Rotten to the core. 1
Corky Posted 7 July 2025 Posted 7 July 2025 This club loves appointing people reasonably fresh from awful runs of form before leaving their last role. Fits in with that.
Lambert09 Posted 7 July 2025 Posted 7 July 2025 (edited) O’Neil had that wolves squad lower in the table than Steve coopers Leicester. A team who most fans would rank as our worst ever prem squad. Diabolical appointment Edited 7 July 2025 by Lambert09 3
James_lcfc Posted 7 July 2025 Posted 7 July 2025 They have had quite a while now to get on top of this. Getting silly.
