My local team won the league on Saturday, genuinely a much more pleasurable experience, drinking outside the clubhouse watching 1st play 2nd for the league title. A great afternoon.

I'll be sticking some sponsorship in next season and will spend more time there.

If you were buying a new season ticket (ie not renewing) in B1 it will cost you £798

That's daylight robbery to watch a third rate team play second tier football

What are the chances of someone getting a season ticket who hasn't been able to attend matches until this point?

I spent years working Saturdays. I've got a handful of points, literally.

Any point trying to 'buy the dip' and get a membership with a view to a ST, or is that just impossible?

The 'protesting against the club' by not renewing narrative does not work.

The club make more money from the new applicants, charging higher prices than renewals. Thus the protest works in their favour, as there's queues of people applying for STs.

I can really see the opinion of those who aren't bothering though as their love for it is gone.

Sent email to the club this morning. Me, brother and Dad not renewing after 15 seasons as STH's.

Be interesting to hear back what reply you get if you get one, apart from "ok thanks"

I’ll be there next season but it’s the first time I’ve not felt arsed in going to games in years. Sounds bad but I can’t even be arsed to get myself to go now to watch us set up to lose every game. Even looking into the next season ahead in the championship, I’m not looking forward to it one bit. At least last season we had a decent squad and a bit of fight within the squad. Now it’s full of half arsed, unlikeable players. The club seems to be on its arse as a whole and we really need a massive recruitment job to even compete next season.

Over £36 a match to watch championship football is dam right disgusting and anyone paying that sort of money needs checking on.

Also dread to think what some of the away matches will be next season for fans too. £40+ the majority i guess.

If they had had proper safe standing ain one full end then that might have swayed me to still go, but again the club missed a trick, especially when it will be very difficult to attract 32,000 each week for championship football.

After 20 years I'm giving mine up. Would rather spend my Saturday afternoons with my young kids now.

Thats the trouble this board are driving away the next generation of supporters.

fans like you should be taking your kids to the footy not walking away.

very sad times

Perhaps they sack RVN before the deadline to encourage more renewals?

Or they're so out of touch they wait until afterwards, thinking there's a groundswell of love for him knowing our lot.

How is the team other than KDH, any different to the one that got promoted last season? Fatawu will be back, Bilal is as good as anything we had last year, Mavadidi, Winks,Vesty and Skipp (Under a new Manager)  will be good players at that level. Think Vards has run his race (One season contract, lower wages-he probably would turn down), Daka needs to go

Prompts the question, do we really want to be in the Premier League, all of the last six promoted teams have come straight back down the very next season. Statistically hard to argue against....obviously won't be easy, but can't rule it out with a proven Manager....

Finally got confirmation of my cancellation.

Zero comment other than I can confirm it's cancelled.

That fan engagement bint is doing a cracking job.

Me and dad had been debating it, neither of us like being forced to go digital, i cant make every game so the 10 swap limit will mean hed have to go on his own a few times, we both increasingly hate the way football as a sport has gone and obviously its been bloody awful last 3 seasons (both thought maresca ball shite and joyless). Counter to that we are both match going fans of 50 and 30 years respectively and its not easy to just give it up. Last night pushed my dad over the edge. Left at half time and neither of us are going to renew. I daresay wel still go occasionally and we've not always been st holders but at the prices they are charging nowadays think it's more likely wel go to watch market harbourough harriers.

I can relate with this. Up until yesterday i was not going to renew. Had an ST since Brian Little days and Monday was the first game i missed at home which i could have attended.

Told my mates and had loads of Whatsapp discussions etc but held firm i wasn't renewing.

Slept on it and a few more messages this morning and ended up renewing.

Its the social aspect for me as i am with a close nit group of great lads and that is what i would have missed the most.

Additionally yes we are a club in turmoil and the board is inept, we have sh1t players and one of the worst managers EVER BUT the badge on the front is more important than any names on the back.

It's a marriage where you have highs(We have been VERY lucky even since the old Wembley days to witness such events including the pinnacle of the Premier league and FA Cup) to some of the worst lows(Deeney Day, Cardiff away, Stoke away, losses at Wembley and THIS season).

I can fully understand if this season has been the last straw and you call it a day, hope you find something else to take your mind off the day to day mundane things.
