Wouldn’t be surprised if they are making calls all day urging people to renew. That said, I reckon there will be less than 10% that don’t sign up again.

its a strange attachment, people grumble and spend hours online to pay small amounts to insure a house for example, likely their biggest asset. Yet will spend double that on the club and just rollover and pay up despite moaning for 6 months.

Finally got confirmation of my cancellation.

Zero comment other than I can confirm it's cancelled.

That fan engagement bint is doing a cracking job.

If there's one consolation then all ticket offices are heading to dinosaur extinction levels soon too

It won't be many years before clubs don't have ticket offices.  It will all be done from a central database, no human interaction.  Just someone in the FA or PL making sure algorythms work and they'll not be based at Leicester City either.

LCFC have seriously turned up in the perfect storm as I do believe vast majority of people would have accepted the digital ticketing if we'd have been high up the table.  Most clubs fans don't care when their team is doing well.  They'll happily be herded through the digital ages.

I'm same as you, I once loved the club and I no longer love it.  I haven't fallen out with football as a game, and I now find myself in the lower leagues whilst they still resemble grass roots etc.

I've clung onto my ST for past 2-3 years not caring about the club anymore, had it since 1998 when we had a real club back then

Once I didn't want the PL to breakaway but now it can go and leave these shores!

Totally agree. As for the Euro league, it needs to happen. You have the likes of Tamworth denied a cup replay v Spurs because ‘it’s too many games’ but for the first time Spurs will play Arsenal in Hong Kong pre season.

Then you’ve got Chelsea selling assets back to their own companies, Man City with the 115 charges, and United moving to Cirque De Soleil. Let them go!

As hugely detached from the club as I feel I have renewed for next season.

A couple of reasons....

I enjoyed the Championship last year and, although I'm taking a gamble, I'm hoping I do next season. No VAR, not so many prima donna players and a different type of football and less of a focus on it than the Prem.

Other reason - it's a great bonding time with my son, we make a full day of match days and make it the focus of our weekends to spend time together but we both are hoping the club take some action that means we can reset our feelings and start to enjoy LCFC football again. Like I said, I'm gambling with this.

If nothing within the club or within ourselves changes then I'm sorry to say this will be our last time renewing.

I think that's a very fair reason to keep going, the social apsect is still very important.

You'll enjoy no VAR for sure + I'm sure they'll score a goal again in the Championship!

If I still lived in the county I'd have renewed I'm sure as next season should in theory be more enjoyable, but living 50 mins away it became a chore.

Maybe we shouldn't travel silly distances to games, not thinking environmental reasons, just it's a long way for a lot of fans to travel.  The peripheral often fall away in tough times.

Yeah it's a circus now, good riddance to the PL and if the so-called big clubs want to leave, the door is open for them to go anytime they want!

The 'protesting against the club' by not renewing narrative does not work.

The club make more money from the new applicants, charging higher prices than renewals. Thus the protest works in their favour, as there's queues of people applying for STs.

I can really see the opinion of those who aren't bothering though as their love for it is gone.

How do you know there are still queues of people wanting to snap up season tickets.I think it’s fair to assume a lot who have been on the waiting list for some considerable time have become disillusioned and are no longer interested.Wouldn’t totally surprise me if they struggle to sell all season tickets.

Yeah 100%

Leicester good seasons - we don’t want you, but pls stay on a list and be happy overpaying for our membership

Leicester atrocious season - please come and support us, we need you!  We have huge gaps in the corners to fill.

Leicester improve - then jump through more hoops again! You dare share your ticket or not turn up for 95% of the games and we’ll banish you for life!

Rinse and repeat

I've renewed because I've been following City through thick, thin and thinner for over 50 years.

Yes this has been a shitshow season and major changes are required but the renewing or not  is not a right or wrong scenario it's a personal choice!

If you've decided not to renew then that's fine as its your decision 👍

I am not abandoning my club cos it's in my blood and that's my choice!

It would be insanity for me to continue giving the club my money and expect a different outcome.

With the current cost of living crisis, having a season ticket has become a luxury.

Yet to not even experience any joy by not witnessing even a mere home goal scored is shocking!

We had such an opportunity to cement ourselves as a top half prem side after winning the league and FA cup - so to miss out twice on top 4 was a shambles.

And now to be relegated once again proves we have not learned our lessons.

The managerial and players appointed, along with contract renewal terms have been abysmal.

John Rudkin has to be to blame - if not him then who else?

Therefore I can no longer justify the cost, nor do I want to blindly follow without holding people responsible and accountable.

The amount of reminder emails and messages is to me a clear indication that the club are panicking as no-where near as many people have renewed as in the past

There are some who will want to boycott but fearful of not getting a season ticket back if we improve in the boardroom and the pitch.

Newcastle under Ashley was an extreme example of people who boycotted after 30+ years of having a season ticket not getting one back when the takeover happened due to the criteria being a pot luck member ballot.

I’m renewing for this next season but that’s more to see my Dad and friends at the games. But anyone who isn’t renewing- shouldn’t be told they are abandoning the club. Club has already abandoned the fans

I wonder how many of those not renewing jumped on the bandwagon after 2016,

You are part of the problem if you think that.

I didn’t realise it was a 5pm deadline, I’ve been in two minds about renewing and won’t

get home till 5.

Drive a bit slower and you'll be fine.

This is the case for us as well. Renewing doesn't make you a happy clapper and not renewing doesn't make you less of a fan.

I've renewed to keep my seat for the inevitable better times. In the meantime

I'll go to the odd game to help bring my mood back down when life starts to seem bearable.

Even if they did, they've already stayed on that "bandwagon" through one relegation.

Just look at this thread, plenty who've had STs for decades but have finally had enough of KPFC.
