True - you're never going to persuade the hardcore KPFC lot to join a protest. But there will be a large number of supporters who definitely aren't in that group and are very pissed off about what's happening at the club, but will be reluctant to support a message that feels more like a two-fingered gesture to the KP group rather than a clear articulation of what needs to change at the club. I suppose it comes down to what the ultimate aim is: to gain attention via shock value but risk a major backlash, or help to build a groundswell of support behind the protest and ultimately put more pressure on the club. Personally think the latter may prove more effective in the long run, although I understand the motivations of those favouring the former approach.

Abrasive anti-KP/Top sentiment is going to catch more attention than the witty slogan nicey-nicey approach. They're not doing anything differently yet so it's time to escalate it. Are they going to sell up immediately? No, but are they under more pressure and more likely to enact change from a point of self-preservation.

 

How it plays with the KP circle in Thailand is important too. 'KP Out' means Top's mum and the family are going to look even more disapprovingly on the project. Trying to keep the sensible, middle-grounder fans on board doesn't move the needle because they're very unlikely to protest anyway.

I don’t agree about the comments on here though. Nobody is defending Top. We all know he is ultimately accountable. 
 

All people are saying is to consider wording that is likely to make the message clear whilst being done is a smarter way, that won’t result in the message being shouted down by the cult who only get off they arses to defend Top!

 

What do angry football fans do when not happy? Shout for someone’s job or for them to be ‘out’. Mostly managers, sometimes players. The risk is that this is shouted down by the cult and is put down to an angry minority. 
 

Personally, I just want my club back. If Top completely overhauled everything, made things good on and off the pitch and publicly held himself accountable and showed some humility, I’d not rush back to giving the club my money but I’d see how things went. 
 

Obviously it’s unlikely as he’s a spoiled man child.

They are unlikely to protest but they are very likely to be in the stadium at the time of this happening and the story coming out of it could very much be that the stadium backed Top.

The same fans are alienated by any protest. They think it's just one of those things that happens, we were in league one {current_year-2009} years ago. They have to be ignored because they just pay less attention to what's going on.

KP aren't blameless but we're highlighting the state of the club. Turning it on KP specifically let's the directors off the hook.
