Unless 2 teams get points deductions we're not staying up anyway, so take 100 off them, we'll still go down.

The manager has given up and has no interest in trying to win games. Our next win will come on 3rd May when we beat the only team that is somehow more pathetic than ours.

I wouldn't be so sure about that. Southampton are garbage but at least they haven't completely lost the ability to score goals.

Threads like this are a waste  of time ,we are going down ,end of .We've  got the worst  Leicester  squad  of players ,ever .Who deserve all the shit going their way ,likewise  the management too.

At this point I actually don't want us to stay up. This season has been the most disgusting ever and I don't want any repeats any time soon. When we get relegated we may score a goal every now and again and may also win every now and again.

Implied relegation chances on Betfair

Wolves 3.2%

Man City 7.4%

------------------------------------

Ipswich 92%

Leicester 96%

Southampton >99%

So looking at that Man City are more than twice as likely to be relegated as Wolves so therefore our best chance of staying up is not finishing above Wolves but finishing above Ipswich and hoping Man City get relegated via the authorities.

There is always hope, the percentages suggest it's far more beneficial to create a gap between Ipswich and ourselves than it is to close the gap on Wolves.

Pretty sure we have been "trying" to get ahead of Ipswich for weeks now, the problem is we are a worse team in all aspects.

I'd love to know how they're working out the probability of Man City getting proper punishment from the authorities, and it actually being enforced.

This team simply cannot compete in the premier league. It’s been proven to death.

lets just take our punishment and come back stronger and healthier. Big changes needed behind the scenes. Top has a lot to answer for. He can’t keep hiding from the fans.

I'd rather see four go down than any of us survive because of something 10 years ago. We all deserve to be relegated.

I would opt for the inevitable now.

If, and it's a big IF  we did stay up,

The board would see it as a victory and 2 fingers up to the fans.

They'd put a positive PR spin on it and most likely feel all the awful transfers and other decisions were justified, as they were instrumental in keeping us up.

I want relegation as I wasn't looking forward to the current season one bit, knowing we absolutely didn't have the depth, or talent capable of keeping us up.

I would rather take relegation, hopefully a complete reset and a chance for a future, as I hate the present.

I'm going to go out on a limb and suggest we might need to score a goal to finish above Ipswich. So on that basis, we're ****ed whatever happens.

We'll lose to both Ipswich and Southampton at home anyway
