whoareyaaa Posted 2 April Posted 2 April 2 weeks of training and two lefts backs are still the answer 2
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 2 April Posted 2 April (edited) Hands up who enjoyed us not playing football’s for the last couple of weeks 🙋🏻♂️ Hands up who’s feeling an inevitable gloom about our return to football’s this evening 🙋🏻♂️ Hands up who hoped for a starting lineup that wasn’t the same as the dross we’ve tried and failed with before? 🙋🏻♂️ 4-0 win incoming then! It's got to be more interesting than watching us get trounced Thanks for asking. I've got some baked salmon fillets left over from last night. Think I'll do a nice salad with them including avocado and beetroot. Add some squeezed lemon and olive oil or should I add some mayonnaise? I'll message Ruud, he'll know what's best 👌

BR tried something similar.

But that would be his team selection and regardless of personal. In fact it would be the style of any manager, playing anyone of the squad, in any formation with any style. We have nothing but shit to pick.
Vacamion Posted 2 April Posted 2 April Interesting to note that when we were still in with a sniff of staying up and RVN announced his teams which people didn't like, there would be fury and 10 pages of chat fairly quickly. Now, not so much...
Scotch Posted 2 April Posted 2 April That's me firmly on the "we would have been better keeping Cooper" bus now. It's hard to imagine him doing any worse. 1
steveb Posted 2 April Posted 2 April Our only hope is if Man City get relegated and we squeeze past Ipswich on goal difference on the final day, because they lose 27 0

Ric Flair Posted 2 April Posted 2 April At what point will this club start to have some pride about it and get some principles that they discover whether any potential new manager is aligned with? Both Cooper and Ruud have been appallingly off kilter in this regard. End the season NOW 1

It’s quite clear with Ndidi and Soumare in midfield we lack a good, progressive passer. So why not bring Winks in - possibly for Daka, because he’s been pretty useless as a front line defender - and play 3 in midfield? This could have a further benefit because an extra man in the middle of the park might do something to combat the fact we have continuously looked light weight in that area when we’ve played with two (or two and a 10).
