England Women to play Jamaica at King Power Stadium on Sunday 29 June
Final match before Lionesses head to UEFA Women’s EURO 2025 in Switzerland
Tickets available via the FA to My England Football members from Tuesday 22 April
Broadcast live on ITV Sport, this match will be a historic first meeting between the Lionesses and the Reggae Girlz, in a final warm up for Sarina Wiegman’s side before they take on France in their opening Group D game just a week later.
This fixture marks a proud return for elite international women’s football to King Power Stadium, following England’s memorable 1-0 victory against Belgium during a UEFA Women’s Nations League match in October 2023 – giving fans another opportunity to witness world-class international women’s football in Leicester.
The Lionesses face tough opposition in Jamaica, who themselves played a fixture at King Power Stadium in 2023. The Reggae Girlz went on to impress global audiences at the 2023 FIFA World Cup later that summer by reaching the knockout stages for the first time in their history and eliminating Brazil along the way.
Leicester City Chief Executive Susan Whelan said: "Hosting England's final match before EURO 2025 is a tremendous honour for Leicester City. It highlights our ongoing commitment to promoting elite women's football and reinforces King Power Stadium's reputation as a venue for significant international sporting occasions.
“We look forward to welcoming both teams and their supporters for a special evening of football, as well as wishing Sarina and her squad the very best as they seek to retain the European title they won so memorably in 2022.”
The fixture may also hold special interest for our supporters, with LCFC Women midfielder
having recently been part of the Lionesses squads, while fellow Fox
 represents Jamaica internationally.
England manager Wiegman said: “I am really pleased to be able to play a good game to finalise our EUROs preparations on English soil. Jamaica will be a difficult test, they’re a nation we haven’t faced before and a real opportunity for us to keep learning and growing as a team. They are building as a team themselves and have been doing really well, especially at the last World Cup. It will be a special occasion and atmosphere in a great stadium which we have performed well at in the past.
“We will do our best to put on a good performance and make it a memorable send-off moment for both the team and the fans. There will only be one week until our opening match against France in Zurich so this is an important milestone in our preparation.”
Tickets for the fixture will go on sale via the FA to My England Football members on Tuesday 22 April, with General Sale commencing on Thursday 24 April. All tickets will be available to purchase here - https://www.wembleystadium.com/Tickets

Nice little honour, I'm surprised we are hosting a lioness fixture so soon. However we will take it! not like we have the England mens play here often. Day after my birthday as well.
