For all that is wrong with the way the club is run, it's their money to waste (if you care to look at it that way). 

 

They are choosing to celebrate the once in a lifetime career of our greatest in a way only you seem to find controversial, and although you shouldn't be afraid of being in the minority in any argument, on this occasion you aren't reading the room and I think there are a lot of very good reasons nobody is agreeing with you. Calling us a herd being one of them, projecting yourself onto me is another. 

 

By the way, you don't win arguments or friends by telling them what they know. That's just arrogance.

By the same logic, instead of being angry at the club / Vardy for not playing vs Bournemouth, why not also be annoyed that Vardy hasn't simultaneously signed a new 1 year contract and agreed a sale to another PL club? That would make the club more money wouldn't it. 

 

Nevermind the ridiculousness of putting this £2m prize money all on the Bournemouth game, rather than every other draw/loss this season...

 

It'd be hilarious for Daka to get a hat-trick at Bournemouth now

This goes two ways btw, not many people have engaged my points in good faith, mostly ridicule and derision when its actually a level headed albeit negative opinion because I am concerned about the long term ramifications of whats happening to the club. 
 

I have never once disagreed about the celebration, I dont know where thats come from. I have disagreed with the fact that we are going to do a celebration and then just handicap ourselves for a competitive game after just because of vibes? This is where people are getting mixed up and arent separating their emotions from the situation.

Thank you. Theres nothing wrong with forgetting about it for one game i’m not calling for any protests or negativity surrounding the day itself. I’ve taken issue with the fact its been announced its his last game and for no other real reason then sentimentality we will be handicapping ourselves for the final game of the season where in fact there is something to play for.

 

Theres a world where we can have both and I personally think the clubs financial future is more important than 500 or 501 on someones wikipedia page.

I see your point but its not quite the same. We are playing for prize money in which our financial position dictates for the best interests of the club we need to go for, we arent in a position to write that level of money off, we might not even get it but i dont think leaving our best goalscorer out is giving us every chance of setting up for future success. 
 

Realistically we’d never get a fee for Vardy and him leaving and coming off the wage bill is a huge help going forwards.

I mean in all honesty id be more worried about the 20 million spunked on Skipp, 8 million on Ayew, God knows how much on sodding Eduoard. If we are going to get spanked by the EFL 1.5 million will make fook all difference. 

Still unless we breach this year which noone knows its doubtful they can do anything; they cant enforce a rule deemed shit by a court retrospectively because they changed the rules recently, the facts remain at the time we broke them their rules were not very good.
