The greatest to ever wear the shirt. I just wish it was under better circumstances. There will never be another like him. I hope we can give a true send off in some sorts although we know this club is allergic to testimonials. Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened. All the best Vards!

Our greatest ever player by a mile. Build the statue and name a stand after him.

 

Have to not to let the unforgivable ineptitude of the club's leadership colour his departure.

I have no words to do justice to the joy this man has brought into my life. Our greatest ever.

 

I suspected this was coming, but I'm really not prepared for the reality.

 

Although I've been tempted to leave early or not attend at times this season, I have continued. Only because of this man. I knew time was limited. JV didn't walk out on us, and I couldn't walk out on JV.

I tend to focus more on what he gave us, rather than what he took. It's not like we've been hard done by.

That was from the football league/premier league for the 11 game record

Respective player of the seasons awards I believe. The plate being the EFL and Barclays being PL

The plate shows the badge of each club he scored against to break the 11 in a row record. With the Leicester badge being at the top.

 

I don't think he ever won a Premier League player of the season though so not sure what the Barclays one is.

 

Edit; It is a Premier League Player of the Season. Apparently there is a PL POTY as well as a PFA POTY (that Mahrez won).

There wont be a dry eye in the house for that last match. Vards leaving is the end of an era and just heightens the feeling that this club is on a terrible downward spiral.  If Top or the board don't go it just feels like its over doesn't it.  Absolutely gutted he is going.  We knew it was coming but they doesn't make it any easier
