Can see it now - he goes to another prem team, struggles to make an impact, comes back to us on loan in Jan, gets his 200th plus another 7-10, securing us promotion. Then he retires.

He’s not going to struggle to make an impact.

Right, but you understand he is not on that.  He is out of contract and therefore is on £0pw.  So negotiations on a new deal start there.  He can only take what is being offered.  If another club offers him a wage and a 3 year contract in line with what he earns now, so be it, but that's not the case.

We can only sign or the EFL will only allow us to resign players with a max weekly wage contribution of 15k max.

Vardy as much of a legend at the club will not stay here on 10% of the wages he is only now

I think you will find it is.

I mean unless we offload everyone of these.

Also apologies I thought it was 190 not 140k but still way to high.

Where have you seen that the EFL are restricting us to £15k a week?

We aren't under a transfer embargo anymore and will not be under one in the summer

As soon as we enter the EFL we will be under a strick transfer embargo. Leicester will need to produce a full business plan with clear direction to reduce that wage bill.

I'm not sure if people are being blind just so they don't have to be put in the realisation of what is coming to this football club.

I can assure you as soon as our papers are moved over to the championship thats when they will get us.

Like I said if we manage to sell all of those players above then I think that the business plan will be lifted. But if we don't we are ****ed quite frankly.

Under the transfer embargo we will be on.

The very most we would be able to offer a player in wages is around the 10 to 15k mark. Deffo no more than 15k

But the deal would have already been done and then the EFL couldn’t do a thing.

Why will be under a strict transfer embargo?

As of right now there is absolutely no reason why they would be able to put us under one

You are aware that the case is not completed with the ongoing PSR which we temporarily (Avoided) this is still ongoing.

We had to belong to a league, the fact we got away with it not being in the premier league means the EFL can take us and we gambled thinking we wouldn't go down.

Should of just took the punishment and then it would be all left behind us

As you state the case is not completed.

Until it is and the outcome is revealed neither the Prem nor the EFL can touch us, and you are speculating about embargos and business cases when it could be a points deduction. You don't know.

And currently there is no expected time when the outcome will be revealed.

Shame he missed the pen last week or the 200 would be done and dusted . He knows what he is doing trying to get everyone down to forest to watch him score a 90th min winner (or consolation at 5-0 down 🙈)

Going to be honest I don’t agree with you, 20 goals last season and 8 goals this season would suggest he still has lots to offer, a damn sight more than Daka. Personally a sensible negotiation of say a decent signing on fee of say £2.5m plus £50k per week basic plus a promotion bonus clause of another £2.5m All in outlay of about £7.5m …….find me a striker to replace Vards for that outlay, don’t think we will get anywhere close.

He has been grossly mismanaged this season, we have flogged a 38 year old week in week out because he is still head and shoulders above anyone else in the squad.

Next season if managed properly he would still bag 15 goals.

I think you’re focusing on what he can do for us rather than what he wants. I think it’s quite a mutual departure.

Feels much like the Kasper one to me.

And the fan reaction largely the same too.

If we’d used vardy for 15 minutes off the bench every game, I don’t think we’d have noticed it wasn’t prime Vardy

Enzo used him as a super-sub last season, and he averaged a goal every 87 min. - by far the most efficient forward in the Championship last season.
