probably will be double figures but on appeal it will go down,

they like to dance that dance, to show some flexing/peacocking

They'll ask for double figures. The independent commission will tell them to **** off. We'll appeal if it's more than 6 and then get it reduced.

I want the best manager and players we can get and if they leave after a year then take the money and rinse and repeat if possible.

Given the choice for a CM would you rather have:

a) peak Kante?

b) peak Choudhury?

I thought that question would be a no brainer but it seems not as some value the longevity of mediocrity over the short bright light of world class.

All footballers want to end up at Real Madrid, etc. The only thing that makes them stay loyal is their lack of better options.

Rodgers got us relegated and was a safe and established name at the time and enzo left the first chance he got which is kinda my main point. It’s not a case of settling for mediocrity it’s a case of a candidate which levels are above where we currently are but is predefined that it won’t completely derail our future by leaving at the end of the season.

Bright exciting future relies purely on being a premier league club, hate to break it to you but an academy is only useful at the top level. There’s no point producing the likes of monga if they’ll be poached at the first opportunity because we lag behind and become a mid table championship side.

Weird comparisons as a lot of them are different completely, are you making a style of play argument or what?

What I am saying is if we organise ourselves correctly and have the right structure and culture in place, where you look 1, 2 maybe even 3 appointments ahead you will have a plan a, b and c in place to ensure each time a manager is poached we are in a position to replace them with a manager who can come in and continue the progression, we did it so well with Little, McGhee and then O’Neill, Brighton do it so well now in the current era, however let’s be honest ever since KP came in they never seem to have a managerial strategy it’s so scattergun and reactive.

Dyche is not a progressive option, it’s a stale, unimaginative choice and shows zero strategy or alignment to our current squad or the number of talented youngsters coming through the academy, for me it has to be Rohl but then we should be looking at managers like Wellens, Cleverley etc with an eye to the future if and when Rohl moves on.

There's a peak Choudhury? When did that happen?

Do like how convenient this has all been. Assume us and Sheff Weds are controlled by the same ultimate leader…. Just have to hope we’re not asset stripped in the same way.

1st july anyone?

Forgot that Crisp Owl was there as well.

Having him and Kingy on board the coaching staff certainly gives a bit of a Nigel Pearson's Leicester City flavour to it.

we sort of did from Puel onwards in a way with the style of player(to a point)in a possession based; but its never a succession strategy; ala noting what managers are around that fit the mould should X leave/sacked/poached, basically what Brighton do,
Im with you tho, of late, the whole process seems incredibly scattergun in its approach

Surely if it was Dyche he'd be here now with a contract starting on the 1st July.

True, or at least strong rumours.
Betting market seems confident but that doesn’t mean much these days.

Stars seem to be aligning for Rohl.

You'd think so wouldn't you but then this is LCFC we're talking about under Aiyawat and Rudkins inspired leadership.

Nothing should surprise us!

I think Powell is an underrated coach

would be v happy to see him back

Was he not a guest co-commentator with Radio Leicester on one of our matches last season?

When he’s not busy with afc Richmond.

Ok, without jinxing it. He is a manager which excites me. Probably more than anything else connected with our club for about 4 years. If it is him, there is something about him I can get behind. Had little excitement over Enzo simply because I was so angry, frustrated, annoyed etc. following the disastrous relegation but I suspect I would’ve been excited had it been in different circumstances

He seems like a builder. Someone you can get behind. His background is impressive. Ready for a big job and that’s what we are at this level.

Powell potentially coming back is also a good sign.

It’s been so long, I’m going to enjoy the feeling. Well at least until we hire Wilder instead.
