In essence we'd likely cover the severance as part of his signings on fee here.

So maybe, just maybe, the delay is in fact us waiting for him to sort out his side of things with Chansiri and then we can swoop in and sign him up?! Not sure whether to be excited.. or worried that there's no mention of LCFC in that article!

The article is just a piece on Wednesday and their situation rather than anything else. I don't think we should be worried, yet.

You are kidding yourself, it’s a deliberate omission. Maybe because he’s got stuff wrong about us recently and doesn’t know for certain or maybe because it’s not happening. But it’s deliberate.

Unless he genuinely doesn’t know which is possible but you’d think he would say “with Leicester strongly interested” or something.

Possibly, but it was a very short article meant to give insight into what's going on at Wednesday. If Percy wasn't mentioned in the article, no one would bat an eyelid. If there's no announcement by end of tomorrow and I'll be worried.

Yeah probably clutching at straws. But a very short article written by two journos, not so sure about that, Mike has been writing about the Wednesday stuff ongoing for a while. However you’re right, it probably doesn’t mean anything 😀

This was always going to be complex for Rohl to negotiate a severance deal, but it’s nearing conclusion, there is nothing to worry about because as it stands Rohl is still officially Sheffield Wednesday manager.  

 

Once his release has been agreed and confirmed I think it will be relatively straight forward and he will be announced here fairly sharpish. 
 

I would be far more concerned it had fallen through if Rohl had already left Wednesday and we had heard nothing for a couple of days. Hold ups appear to be on his side in terms of securing his release.

One of the first games I went to as a kid was Wednesday at home. I couldn't believe the amount of travelling fans, especially the amount all clobbered up and ready for a scrap 

 

Decent club, decent fans. Proper traditional club, ground and fanbase.

I'm increasingly confident it will be Rohl.  The only other credible name linked is Dyche and as he is a free agent, I'm certain he would have been announced already.

 

The severance package for Rohl is a legitimate reason for him not signing yet.  Once that's sorted, he'll be here.

 

Sheffield Wednesday are a mess, their owner seems absolutely despicable.  I genuinely feel sorry for their fans.

With how long it’s taken Rohl to leave, despite the rumours for weeks, it makes sense it’s to join us cause we all know how long we like to take with everything. Probs Rudkin trying to save an extra 50p somewhere.
