Genuinely no point playing Faes or ayew we are down anyway should have given a few young lads a go. Such a waste of an opportunity

OK it may not work,and the attacks break down due to inexperienced, but it's a positive difference and actually planning for the future to see where we are. 

 

RvN is ia clueless fraud, and I for one can't wait for him to be sacked.

Disgusting team selection, yet again the opportunity to be positive and select some young talent and really freshen it up and prepare for next season and instead he reverts to tried and tested dog muck. 
 

I think this is a stand off between club and Ruud, he wants his pay off and I think the club want him to walk , the ones suffering in between are the supporters. 
 

How can that selection be a nod to the future. Hate what this club has become.

Tielemans scores what looks like the winner for Villa, and we plan for the future in the Championship by playing Jordan Ayew. Impressively disheartening!

I'll try to be generous after my weekly moment of despair at yet another RvN team selection.  There's money available for every league place.  He'll be under pressure to get 18th if possible even if that means sacrificing game time for those who need it.  Problem is I don't think his selection will get it.

Correct,  it hasn't worked for the 20 odd games before this one. and against better opposition.

If keeping Ruud is a cunning plan (too cunning for me, even as a weasel) to hack off and make a load of senior deadwood move, it would be the one reason I'd be for it, but only if he rammed the point home by playing the youngsters and anyone on the bench  - hell, play the actual bench - to ram the point home. Bench would only be marginally slower than some and a better blocker off the line than many too.
