AyewJoking Posted 20 May 2025 Posted 20 May 2025 You joke but Schlupp would be a decent signing considering the state of this team. We are ****ed financially though so his age and wage demands make this a non starter Sorry Jeff 1

Jon the Hat Posted 21 May 2025 Posted 21 May 2025 IF we need some experience because we have successfully offloaded every player over 25 in the squad, then fine. If not then no thanks. 3
Popular Post LCFCJohn Posted 21 May 2025 Popular Post Posted 21 May 2025 Absolutely not. How are people justifying this as a good move? Beggars belief! 5

Most of the players you listed are on considerably more, apart from Henry. We have a wage bill reportedly £10m a season more than Forest, this is what we need to get away from.

Take the £300,000 grand a week on the three out of contact and two loan players that are already leaving out...then the 35% (rumoured) wage cut for relegation and that's our wage bill halved to around 40 million.
SK3Blue Posted 21 May 2025 Posted 21 May 2025 Setting ourselves up for another Ryan Bertrand moment here. Expensive wages, 3 year deal no doubt from Jon. He’s missed about 80 odd games through injury, Hamstrings gone about 4 times, did his ankle at Palace and out for about 5 months. Not for me this time around. 1
JimJams Posted 21 May 2025 Posted 21 May 2025 We have 5 players that can all play left back to varying degrees. We don't need a 6th. We wouldn't need Jeff if we sold 2 or 3. 1
moore_94 Posted 21 May 2025 Posted 21 May 2025 Plays left back and centre mid Perfect for inverting for Russell Martin 1

Soar Fox Posted 21 May 2025 Posted 21 May 2025 The Southampton obsession has now changed and we are obsessed with getting Crystal Palace’s deadwood

funkyrobot Posted 23 May 2025 Posted 23 May 2025 Can’t believe the amount of Schlupp haters. In a transfer embargo situation he’s a solid free transfer. 3
