Might as well get this in here early, since we're not in it.

(Though it's hard to argue we were in 2024/25 either)

Forest & Villa finding out it’s not as easy as it looks to stay in the top 3 or 6. Leicester tried for several seasons. Fine margins and squad depths make all the difference

Got to get through the play off first as well .

Villa will probably be favourites for the Europa league .

I feel Villa are just so unreliable.  They choked both of their biggest games of the season and not the type of side I would ever put money on to win a big game.

It is so tough to break that top 4. That's why so few have done it. Squad depth is a massive difference and the big clubs have the resources and money to just keep adding to it.

We’ve taken more bets on Man United and Sunderland than any other team so far 👀

West Ham at 7/1... based on how they looked last season i would think there odds would be similar to Wolves.

Agreed, I think that's the only bit of value there tbh.

I can also see forest being quite low down next season with European football to contend with.

Then you've got Brentford who could lose Mbuemo and Wissa

It really is hard to see anyone but the promoted teams going down unless something drastic happens. Sunderland will sadly have no chance, Burnley defended well in the championship but will that translate to the prem, unlikely? Leeds have the dollar but will be loyal to Farke and ultimately Ipswich spent a lot of money and that didn’t help them a bit.

maybe if Silva suddenly left Fulham or Brentford lose a few players, you could see them struggling but it’s still a drop off.

West Ham are cracking value at 7/1. I just hope at least one of the 17 drops next season.

The impending loss of Gibbs-White will hurt them badly, I think. He's so important to how they play. You could imagine bigger clubs being interested in their back pairing as well. A thin squad, losing key players, additional demands of European football and a manager who regularly drops off a bit in the second or third season. They'll do well to be in the top half.

I'd fancy Forest and Wolves to be closest to the relegation spots. I think West Ham improve under the summer under Potter. Everton appear to be bordering on being a competently ran football club again. Brighton and Brentford will continue to punch well above their weight.

Think Leeds will stay up and think keeping Farke is why, personally. Bit harsh judging him on Norwich refusing to ever reinforce in the Prem.

The fact they're extremely fit, hard working, will press relentlessly and are good on the counter will make them a better Premier League fit than our three this year.

Don't think West Ham will improve much. I wonder if Bowen will be poached...

I hope for the integrity of the sport that at least one of the top 17 drops next season. Three consecutive years of all three promoted sides going straight back down would be an extremely worrying sign.

There are red flags for both sides you've mentioned. West Ham haven't improved for a very long time. Lopetegui didn't improve them from Moyes and Potter hasn't improved them from Lopetegui. Lose Bowen, Kudus or any other names and they're in bother.

Forest are almost certainly losing Gibbs-White if transfer news is to be believed and their squad is going to be stretched very thinly in a competition that offers little in financial reward or pull for new players. As hilarious as their drop-off towards the end of the season was, you do wonder if they've been sussed and whether this momentum carries on into next season with the added challenge of extra games.

Then there's Nuno. Apparently wanted by Roma, who can offer a very attractive package, or he stays and is under pressure when Forest end up declining from last season.

Cunha to Man Utd is the most 2025 Man Utd signing imaginable. He's going to absolutely implode in that set-up. lol

Definitely going to be something dodgy about this

Textor owns Botafogo and also Lyon who helped Forest out big time when they bought Mangala and Niakhate for way more than they were worth
