The lad is unable to use his hands. He can't work on a building site unless it's a LEGO one in his basement. Though I very much doubt he can handle LEGO bricks. The huge for 2-5yrs old ones I mean.

Stripping at Bistro Live it is then.

There are only 2 jobs in this planet Ward could do: Bird watching and train spotting. But eventually he convinced some people with money he's a quality GK.

A bit harsh on bird watchers and train spotters in my opinion.

All credit to the PR staff.

it’s not easy to lump the sublime, the ridiculous and the resolutely average in a single press release.  Much less give them pretty much equal billing.

Ward has to know that he is rated as awful by the vast majority of the fans.

Unless he has zero footballing and emotional intelligence, he has to have an idea of how awful he's been.

I know he made plenty of £££ off us, but it must be quite psychologically damaging.

I hope he finds some inner peace and redemption elsewhere.

I wouldn't be surprised if he did a Drinkwater and retired. Nobody will pay a fraction of what he's been on here and his confidence must be completely non-existent at any serious level of football.

Danny Ward. 52 matches in all competitions – in seven seasons with us.

£12.5m well spent.

TBH would have been better with less appearances.

Getting rid of 2 goalkeepers and our main keeper injured.

Clearly we are keeping RVN and his cunning plan to get promoted is to play 11 outfield players.

Come on city, not mad at all.

Thank fevk Ward has finally stopped estimating g outbid the lcfc gravyvtrain sponsored by our inept DofF and Board.

Rinsed millions out of the club so can do one.

I agree. The few times I've heard him speak, he seems a nice lad. The fact he's non league level ability innit ay sense is irrelevant.

I'm a bit mixed on whether begging both Rodgers and the Dutchman to be dropped speaks well of his character,.or, is literally a dereliction of duty.

Sadly for him,.the humiliation comes not only the reputation he has with fans, but also that deep deep knowledge that although his teammates were friends, the imposter syndrome levels must've been off the scale..

Millionaire or not, that kind of professional embarrassment cuts deep.

I wish him well and hope he finds a level which he's comfortable and popular at.

Ward is clearly not mentally tough enough for professional football. He's shit no doubt. But this level of shittness for an ex Liverpool player must be more mental than talent.

Didn't he ask to come off at half time at wolves?

The club often get their comms wrong and I think they've got it wrong again. Not for lumping Vardy in with the mercenary GK.

But the fact they mentioned Ward at all. Like, I wouldn't have even minded if we found out in August that he had actually left today lol

Rudkin - Boss, the peasants are revolting. They want us both out and they are protesting about King Power. What do we do now?

Top - Announce Ward has left the club.

Rudkin - Brilliant! I knew you would know what to do.

Top - No problem. Now go and clean out the stables.

Rudkin - Yes boss. Thank you boss.

That would have been a good photo for the spot the ball competitions (do they still exist?). Nobody would have got it right

If Ward is a goalkeeper I'm the leader of planet Earth and I demand every person in the planet to send me £10.

Bank details to follow.

If he's to rebuild his career, he's going to need to find two things.

1) A club who are genuinely grateful to have him. Realistically, this is going to be some way below the Premier League and possibly the Championship.

2) A club with exceptional man management who can rebuild his confidence.

If you take his last three seasons, he's had to replace an iconic goalkeeper in Kasper Schmeichel and failed so spectacularly he's been largely blamed in the football world for the relegation of a football club who were in a European semi-final not twelve months earlier and considered anything outside of the top 10 a disaster. Then he was denied the chance to redeem himself in a successful Championship season as he became a (distant) third choice. After promotion, he was trusted for 135 minutes of football and conceded six goals before begging not to be used again.

I think he may well be done in the professional game. You certainly won't see him in the Premier League. Wrexham may have been a possibility had they not been promoted, but they'll have better options now. He was quite liked at Huddersfield on loan a few years back, so he could go there, but he's had some pretty traumatic years since. He'll need very careful handling.

A far cry from our fans singing his name when he was briefly a penalty shootout specialist.

Iversen joins Preston after making zero (0) appearances for us after we turned down £5m for him.

Just another day of competence from King Power!

There's helluva slot of Dutchman cucks on here who'd vehemently claim that Iversen was worse or equally as bad as Ward. Devil or deep blue sea stuff.

When challenged at the time as to who championship clubs would select given a free choice between Ward and Iversen, well, now the opinion most normal fans had is actually fact.

Just a hunch, but I think he could well be finished. I don't think he's professional standard.

His best bet might be to move abroad to a semi pro level league, Sweden for example, that still has some kudos. Or perhaps to the jock league. Either way, you're talking 500 quid a week as opposed to Rudkin's 50k a week

Scenes when he has a career best performance to knock Forest out in the UECL qualifiers while playing for Haverfordwest County.

Rodgers stiched us up rightly.  If only he had signed a CF for the 12.5 million instead of Ward.

We would certainly have secured champions league football.

He signed under Puel.
