He really doesn’t! Obviously IMO.

Here’s 10 teams he doesn’t get in, without any thought at all:

Arsenal

Man C

Man U

Liverpool

Villa

Chelsea

PSG

Bayern Munich

Atletico Madrid

Real Madrid

Barcelona (11th added in case you felt he’d start for Villa. Or Chelsea).

Remember, he’s not even the first choice LW at a Newcastle side in the bottom half of the league!

Hmmm if the below average Noni gets in arsenal’s he easily would. And Liverpool’s, Chelsea and villa. Might not be good enough for Barca but scored & assisted against em this season, Very underrated player

For anyone who watches the development squad how would Logan Briggs fit into men’s football. Would he suit a more attacking box to box role similar to JJ’s role this season or is he a 10/winger?

From the bits I have seen I get a little bit of a KDH vibe from him in terms of his development. Wouldn’t be surprised if he broke our team or had a very successful L2 loan in the upcoming season. Think he ends up as a 10 but think he starts out as a backup wide option if he comes in to the squad now

He’d struggle physically imo. Tidy player but would need a Chilwell/KDH type transformative summer to be competitive as he’s not stand out enough from a technical perspective.

Impressive displays throughout 25/26 have seen Logan Briggs shortlisted for the PL2 Player of the Season award.

Logan's 21 now & every search suggests his contract is up end of June, with the club promoting his achievement did he sign a new 1 prior to going on loan or is he due 1?

Didn't realise Brexit was a major factor in this as well. You can see why Brentford have binned off their youth development.

They have an academy again now

I think it made it more difficult to steal academy aged players from European Teams. In some respects that made it better for British players but it also made them more attractive to the 6.

Kids getting agents so young is a problem too and get big for their boots too early.

It's difficult because you can't force a youngsters to stay with you but there needs to be greater compensation.

There is always a food chain though, I'm sure that Wolves academy has taken players from lower levels.

And yet EFL clubs are busy voting in rule changes that reduces the amount of revenue you can spend on 1st team and encourage infrastructure and youth investment. On the face of it that sounds positive, but if diligent down the pyramid clubs put several million in to that, it's like curry to a pisshead for those higher up the chain to have even better pool of talent to take advantage of for zilch.

Until a cohesive system and rules are brought in across more than just the individual leagues then it's just a sorry state of affairs and one we are going to pay the biggest price for from our decline.

Didn’t need a Technical Director to tell me the system’s flawed.

I hope the play the 16yr olds & pay them £30k a week to show them a career path, now understand what young players of today would rather do & ANY non 6/7 clubs board regardless of competence or lack of can do about it.

One may say, not me obviously, that of all the clubs to be bemoaning how the system works, Wolverhampton Wanderers should probably take a look at how the operative when bringing in their own talent, Rather than playing the victim when one of their prize possessions has been tapped up.

Maybe (One may say, not me obviously) a big club like Wolves should say, stay within the current rules and not circumnavigate them with elaborate schemes in order to prove they are operating within the rules.

Maybe other clubs local or localish to Wolverhampton might feel exactly the same as this chap because of how WWFC operates.

One may think, not me obviously, that one possibly respects the hell out of how competitive WWFC are willing to be when doing their damnedest, to get the very best players into their academy, and wishes maybe less than 1% of the time, that other Academies would have a similar outlook, yet when you consider that the commodities being discussed here are minors, then the rules exist to protect them. Not the pockets of Billionaires abroad.

Regards the Brexit mention I believe he is explaining poorly, that the bigger fish now have to concentrate on their much smaller national pond, not a global one which effects WWFC more than it did previously.

However you dress that up, it was and would again be child trafficking. But it's ok because Fabregas was a quality player.......

Boo hoo

When you have clubs like ours that would rather loan a big 6 academy player like Mukasa than play our own in Page then players need to be able to leverage their own value in order to convince clubs to play them.

Whether we like it or not, agents give young players power in an industry that is incredibly cut throat. I prefer the reality where our young players are able to at least partly control their own future rather than leave it up to the likes of Rudkin who will always prefer ready-made journeymen.
