It seems that at this point the Canadians should just have a generic "go play with the traffic, tossers" response ready to go for practically every diplomatic interaction they have with the uncouth neighbours to the south.

The initial copper who grabbed the twat from behind was OTT as i dont think the twat even knew what was going on, so that bad from that Copper.

BUT NO WAY should the twat have reacted in the way he did once he realised they were Coppers.

Then his arsehole fat brother getting involved stating he was scared for his brothers life!! FFS mate this aint USA!

That twat knocked 2 policewomen out deserves jail in itself.

Brother needs a good look at too.

The Copper who kicks and stamps on twat needs  a good telling off too as it was unreasonable force.

Nothing will happen to them though mark my words....

Quite rightly so. Just seen his female colleague have her nose broken by some cowardly inbred after hes assaulted 3 other people. Then was still squirming around on the floor trying to resist and get back up after being tasered. Needed to be total incapacitated to have situation under control. Hope it fcking hurt as well

See they have a human rights lawyer to represent them.

If this was John and Dave from the Saff they would be guaranteed seeing a nice Jail sentence.

Luckily for them the judicial system will be sh1tting themselves of what might happen in Rochdale if they get banged up.

Wont be surprised if the initial ruling will be overturned and skinny brother will be let off with fatty with the Cops being done by the IPC

It’s very quiet from the loony left,  and politicians including the Home Secretary,  who were hoping to turn these pieces of shit into martyrs for the police brutality against black and ethnic minorities cause.

Be interesting to see what sentence he gets and how it compares to some of the sentences dished out last summer.

... is the inference here that there is no problem on this matter, then?

the guilty brother will go down (might only be for a year).  Given it is a first offence he may have got away with a community order without the publicity and his not guilty plea.

The blokes involved deserve to see jail.

The copper that engaged in a bit of kicking and stomping needs to explain to the IPC exactly why he lost his self control and how he can be sure that he might not give a more innocent party a good kicking the next time the red mist comes down.

Bloke singular mac

one of the brothers isn’t guilty of anything at this time

Regarding the red mist policeman - if he’s not been involved in anything similar before then I’d accept it was an ill judged reaction in a highly stressful situation.  If he’s got form then he should be disciplined

Appreciate the clarification and agree entirely with that.

Or the copper acted correctly? If the IPC is involved then it just undermines the police once again.

Wouldn't it be better to at least try to make sure this officer isn't going to act the same way in a high pressure situation with a more innocent person involved in the future?

Independent oversight is important.

Wouldn't it be better to suspend him for 18 months on full pay before clearing him, by which point he will have got bored and decided to do something else?

A man injured in an alleged assault at St Pancras railway station, over which police want to question far-right activist Tommy Robinson, has been discharged from hospital.

Earlier this week, video footage on social media showed Robinson walking back and forth near a motionless man lying on the floor at the station. The clip did not show how the man ended up on the floor.

Quite so.

And when he comes out from whatever rock he's hiding under, the process of deciding if he needs to be proven guilty of anything associated with this can begin.

Until an official complaint of assault is made, “he fell over” is exactly what happened.

Wouldn’t be overly surprised if no complaint is ever made. For whatever reason.

A 76-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of administering poison after children fell ill at a summer camp in Leicestershire.

Police said an investigation was under way after eight children at the camp at Stathern Lodge were taken to hospital on Sunday. All have since been discharged.

Officers had gone to the camp, in Canal Lane, with East Midlands Ambulance Service after receiving reports about the children feeling unwell.

The arrested man was detained on suspicion of administering poison or a noxious thing with intent to injure, aggrieve or annoy. He remains in custody.

The police watchdog, the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC), said it was investigating Leicestershire Police's handling of the incident.

You don't want to leave that can kicking down the road, best to stamp on it right now, boot it into touch.

Are we quite sure that video footage didn't also show a certain Polish ex-LCFC defender walking back and forth nearby?

I definitely recall similar scenarios playing out with opposing players inexplicably lying motionless on the pitch while Wasyl walked back and forth nearby....;)

I'm sure Big Was can neither confirm nor deny his involvement :D

Celeb nipslips were about as exciting as it got in my day. **** knows what kind of damage modern day porn is doing to young people considering how extreme some of it is. Probably my most authoritarian political position is that porn should just be outright banned. Stuff that is far less damaging to people is already.

Setting aside the stuff on banning porn because it is, as Finnegan said, Mary Whitehouse nonsense (and also wildly unworkable/open to abuse as we're seeing with the itch/steam stuff coming out as a result of Collective Shout in Aus trying to force payment processors to effectively sensor stuff by not allowing payments, leading to not just porn games being blocked but also e.g. writings by victims of domestic violence and sexual abuse), extreme porn is a massive problem which is made worse by this sort of law, not better. Like previously what were teenagers gonna do, end up on pornhub, lie about their age and see whatever ends up on the front page there. Now, they're gonna end up bypassing it through things like TOR and just end up seeing stuff which is comparatively far more extreme.

The entire set up is a data breach waiting to happen and is laughably easy to bypass (I've seen people getting verified on discord with death strandings photo mode), and doesn't really improve anything compared to the far less invasive and better solution of parents actually doing some parenting rather than giving their kids an iPad and leaving them to it.

That's up to him and the fuzz, and how anxious they are to talk to him, I would think.
