Fortnum and Mason's Burlington Breakfast marmalade is sexual.

Are you saying you stick your dick in it?

That's about all it's good for I guess.

And there you see the beauty of a democratic system in the American style.

It allows for people not like those well-rounded people to assign absolute power to a man like Trump.

And he derides our PM for wanting to consult others first, because, wisely, we don't give our premier absolute power as probably we learned from having a monarchy.

Yep.

Gotta love the right to choose destruction of the "other" and of everyone's future, right?

Night of the Long Knives?

Trump announces ‘fraud’ crackdown in Democratic states as arrests begin in California | Donald Trump | The Guardian

Not exactly.

He's pitting Vance against Newsom directly and provoking the latter, because it's the most likely contest for the top job in 2028 at the moment.

He needs to make Vance look good and Newsom look bad domestically, especially with approval ratings nosediving.

Wouldn't say you are at long knives level as this isnt purging your own party like that night was.

The brown shirts (ICE) are still around, just hidden away as they had their news cycle and now Trump doing crazier shit. He saturates the news cycle so people forget the shit hes has done. Minnesota being no longer on the radar. I mean, fk me, i had forgot he had the Venezuelan president in prison until he went to a pre trial hearing the other day.

Hes cocked up as he now cant get out of Iran and start the next cycle to get away with his crazy stuff. Supreme court going ro rule against him on birthright citizenship, possibly 7-2, that east wing of the Whitehouse is still on its arse and now cant be built on and sacking Pam Bondi didnt shift the focus from Iran.

Hes in a hole, he wont like it, he aint smart enough to dig himself out. He will lash out more

He’s also got nothing to lose as I don’t believe he’ll even try re-election swindle. Makes him appallingly dangerous and hopefully losing congress and the senate at the end of this year can slow him down. Until then, he’ll be bat shit.

I am curious to see what he’ll do with Vance. Can’t remember where I heard it, but someone thought it would suit his ego for Dems to win so he can say “Republican success was all me”. Making JD and interesting target for him post mid terms.

He will get behind vance then vance will take the oath with Trump as vice president then step aside for whatever reason and leave the VP in charge. Only way he could do it without a changing the constitution.

Trump can't run for VP. It's not just President he can't run for.

I fully expect the republicans to get smashed in the midterms so he's going to be struggling to do anything in the second half of his term without congress being so compliant.

He can still go on a VP ticket. Amendment says he cant run for a 3rd presidential term, but not that he couldn't serve a 3rd if Vance, or whichever lacky went for it, stood down.

No person 'ineligible to be president' can be VP. He will be ineligible to be president. An untested part of the constitution I suppose but it's there in black and white.

Apparently a minority of people holding a one time religious exercise there is the end of the world as we know it

"no individual constitutionally ineligible to the office of president would be eligible to serve as vice president"

Constitution says that to be eligible you have to be 35, born in the USA and lived there for at least 4 years. The eligibility to be president is not set on the amount of times you have been president before. It says you can't run to be president for a 3rd time. Doesn't say the person who has been president twice can't then be VP.

12 amendment is written like most US amendments, with a lot of wiggle room.

It’s more that the system ( congress , US Supreme Court, constitution ) was supposed to reel in or curtail the worst excesses of a president but it fell apart with the craven and cowardly GOP unable or unwilling to risk the wrath of a degenerate moron .
