How long before the Malvinas are liberated?

liberated?  The citizens voted themselves with an over 98% majority to remain British at their last referendum.

the British had a settlement on the falklands long before Argentina was even a country.

...I think he was being ironic WRT the habit of the US looking to "liberate" nations on a reasonably regular basis.

I get that.

Anyhow, just more proof, if any more were needed, as to how Trump and his administration cannot be in any way relied upon by the UK or anyone else outside their very small and self centred circle.

You've been in America so long you've forgotten what sarcasm is.

Indeed. Earlier this week he was saying that he could always change the deal we had with the USA on tariffs... Like he doesn't know the principles behind what a deal is. No point dealing with people who don't honour (honor?) them.

It was clear from the very start (as in early 2017) that this administration has no honour, only self interest, and I'm just befuddled by the amount of people who tried (and still try) to give them the benefit of any doubt somehow.

After attempting to change the 'Gulf of Mexico' to the ‘Gulf of America', Donald Trump inspires another rebrand as 'Strait of Hormuz' increasingly starts to look like 'Shit Creek'

Well, it does make you wonder.

I've mentioned this before but Private Eye have covered this extensively as they did with the Post Office scandal.

We'll probably never know what actually happened but what is clear is that the evidence, particularly expert, against Letby doesn't stand up, the police did a poor job and it very much looks like there was some serious ars3 covering going on at the hospital.

I too have watched factual documentaries on both that you mention. Documentaries that aren't sensationalist. I struggle to get beyond the failure that has been exposed in both. The Post Office is already being held to account.

Maybe now some re-examination of the Letby case will take place as a result of the investigation into the bosses at the hospital, although I don't hold much hope.

Whilst very far from a conspiracy theorist there are numerous examples of corporate cover ups that have been exposed.  Large organisations seek to protect themselves and if that means riding roughshod over a few (or a lot of) innocent people then so be it.  Sad but true. DuPont comes to mind.

Right wingers are a queer bunch aren't they. Lapping it up when Trump is an arse towards Starmer (or *anything* they don't like) but can't manage anything more than a murmur when he *completely unsurprisingly* threatens to support an invasion of the Falklands Islands.

He's a t**t. They're t**ts by association. Just like KPFC really
