How do you suggest those who are being taken advantage of daily by the state go about resolving these issues? A petition or something?

Demonstrations are OK if not hijacked by bad actors.

I think rioting can sometimes be justified (eg. Miners in the 80’s) and the school riots were for a just social cause but now it seems to have spilled into anarchy for the sake of anarchy.

Massive news over here. Absolutely gutted for the soldiers and their loved ones. Definitely hits home as both my two younger brothers are full time Canadian soldiers (as is one of my 1st cousins). Lots of rumours but for now don't care just thinking of those lost, those seriously injured, shellshocked and all those who have been deeply hurt in some way or another.

I think the better question is how we resolve issues of those taking advantage of the state, and all of us.

ITV showing Reform for what they are once again, then.

Not sure how much utility it will serve, though.

To be filed with other surprising revelations such as

‘savile is prolific sex offender’

’randy Andy is actually randy’

Repeatedly, Lecornu names the "ultra-left" as responsible for unrest, with "criminal elements" behind the violence later on. He adds that there was "currently an issue with the far-left in Marseilles".

And in all likelihood he's correct.

What is also correct, however, is a previously discussed if the powers that be actually do something about the school situation then the far-left don't have the opportunity to start this (in some places literal) tinderbox.

It's all very needless.

Leicester one of the hardest places to grow-up, Leicestershire one of the 'least challenging'.

City expansion? No thanks Sir Pete.

'Middlesbrough, Hounslow, Bradford, Nottingham, Halton, Peterborough, Leicester, Liverpool, Sunderland and Medway were ranked the hardest places to grow up in England.

Cheshire East, Merton, Surrey, Richmond upon Thames, Hertfordshire, Cheshire West and Chester, Haringey, Leicestershire, Central Bedfordshire and Wokingham were described as the "least challenging places to be a child".

We need more cycle lanes and open spaces in the county towns so cyclists have more pedestrian only spaces to cycle through.

Wealth disparity correlates with opportunity disparity and related detrimental quality of life for children.

The real tragedy of the poor is the poverty of their aspirations (Adam Smith). If you're smart enough and sufficiently determined, you can achieve great things, regardless of your background. My brother-in-law is a prime examle of this, having been brought up in one Leicester's poorest areas, he now advises governments on nuclear waste issues, is a leading research and development scientist into the use of actinium 225 for cancer treatments, and has more letters after his name than letters in his name!

And he clearly earned every moment of his storied career and success, and many congratulations to him on combining his smarts and determination as he has.

It's just an unfortunate fact that the world is such that there are a great many possessed of similar smarts and determination who will earn nothing for it but poverty, obscurity and hardship, through no fault of their own.

What’s happening in France right now has huge implications for Europe unfortunately, I fear this will now be manipulated to get the far Right in and then possibly other countries will follow.
Some people may think that’s a good thing but personally I don’t as extreme left of right is never good in my

view.
just hope it gets under control soon or I can see it kicking off here too soon if that spark is lit.

On the topic of civil unrest, it would appear that the Albanians are rather unhappy with their government having close ties to the Trump and Kushner families.

There's rather a lot going on over there to show just how much they don't like it.

Just seen it’s kicking off in Albania and Milan. Hard to tell if it’s a protest or just an excuse to loot everything but like France I guess it started with a good reason but then gets taken over by people deciding they can take what they want.
Not sure why they don’t put more effort into government buildings instead of shops.

And it also looks like the Maple MAGA fifth columnists in Alberta may well not get what they want, either.

Some hope, then.

So they had a vote on whether they should have a vote?

Vinted says it has removed listings of items believed to have been looted from shops during the ongoing riots in France.

The second hand re-selling platform said following the weekend's disorder it had "taken immediate action to identify and remove listings linked to looting".

Shops across several French cities were broken into and ransacked during the outbreak of riots over the weekend.

"The sale of stolen goods, or soliciting them, is strictly prohibited on Vinted, and we have zero tolerance for it," a spokesperson for the company said.

Equally, the opposite, there are those born into the right circles, with opportunity handed to them but have no smarts.

From what I can tell, the action in Albania is mostly targeting government infrastructure.

I think that's the case.

Anyway, good to see the ones who would happily see Alberta become a 51st state under the sociopaths to the south (it was never about separatism btw) put back in their box for a while, though I'm sure they won't stop.
