I don't think Icardi has any thoughts going on in his head when he's not on a football pitch tbh, no amount of stupid things he does surprise me anymore

Yep some of us have been talking about this for years.  Years to come fans will look back and wonder what the big deal was.  Because I believe european league games being played abroad will be common place, just like NFL games are already.

The club world cup will be pushed and pushed especially by the US and saudi clubs, with the intent to either end the champions league or at least over take it.

BBC have signed a deal to show a live Bundesliga match every week until 2027 on Iplayer/BBC Sport.


Announced matches so far

Bayern Munich v RB Leipzig - 22 August

Hamburg v St Pauli - 29 August

Bayer Leverkusen v Eintracht Frankfurt - 12 September

Stuttgart v St Pauli - 19 September

Bayern Munich v Werder Bremen - 26 September

Great result for Pafos last night. Got a soft spot for them as i watched them in a pre season game 30 years ago whilst on holiday in Cyprus. They were under a different name back then. But my god the football was shocking. Just hope they can see it through and get into the group stage Red Star are no mugs but winning away has done their chances no harm.

Portuguese second division - Portimonense goalkeeper was sent off in the first half, then the sub goalie got sent of as well for handling the ball outside the box.
The played the second half with nine men and a centre back called Jarleysom in goal, and managed to win 2-1. He's, and I'm not exaggerating here, a better goalkeeper than Danny Ward!
