Glad I got to visit there a couple of years ago, even if it was just a tour.

Sad I didn't get to see a match there. So much history in that place :(

Going at the end of the month to see AC vs Lazio.

Went there about 20 years ago but glad I'm gonna get to another game there before it goes.

Me and my mate did a tour in 2015, but hoping to get to a game this season now.

Unfortunately, Cremonese have already played AC and Inter away so won't be able to catch Vardy there.

I don't think construction is going to begin for a while yet, it's not quite this season or bust

Cannot argue with that England squad.

Watkins needs to step up.

Calls for Welbeck are weird IMO

Nice to see players get in on merit.

It shows how healthy the Premier League is when it's a really strong team with only 8 players in that squad from the "big six".

From that team i'd pick something like;

Pickford

James Stones Guehi Burn

Rice Wharton

Saka Bellingham Rashford

Kane

I think the fullbacks are a worry but otherwise I think the rest of the team is spot on.

I'm in the camp of England should find room for Foden because I think he's the best footballer England has but I do concede that he's difficult to fit in.

Yes not really one for the future but we do lack cover for Kane .

So lacking in that position that they've called up Alex Scott. She's 41 now, but still very fit.

How this Juric guy is still in Atalanta after what happened mid week? Why they didn't sack him?

Sorting out the replacement pretty much - Italian football doesn't really do caretakers cos they will be paying Juric traditionally rather than a pay off.

Serie A is great again this season - 5 teams at the top, 3 points between them. Bologna once again upsetting the applecart with a brilliant win over Napoli yesterday. A great example of a club forever losing talent and the replacing it but also doing it in a way that is sensible. Thijs Dallinga scored yesterday ; it's taken him some time to get into after his transfer last season but they just let him being sub/back up last season and now he's hitting the ground. Brilliant front post finish yesterday.

Congratulations to Atletico Ottawa for winning the Canadian PL title.

If you're puzzled how "Atletico" and "Ottawa" can possibly go together,

well, you're not alone.

Nice kit though.

It amuses me how many people think Pep Guardiola is the greatest manager ever, as he's won lots of stuff at Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Man City.

Now what could those 3 clubs have in common?

Try winning things at not-so-rich provincial clubs ... and you might find your tippy-tappy philosophy doesn't work quite as well.

Wild weather for that one lol

Congrats to Ottawa. We(Hamilton) have had a pretty good stranglehold on the title since the league started in 2019.

Technically though, we still won the league and they won the playoff ;)

Too right. Until he wins the Vanarama North he doesn't go down in the pantheon of greats for me

If anyone likes South American football live at 8.50 BBC3 Copa Libertadores Final Palmeiras v Flamengo

Posted

Always cracks me up how much the British football community think the EFL is a tough, rough league where you've got to be a warrior that handle it.

Especially given how many of those same people probably think South American football is soft.

Absolute ****ing nutters this lot.
