You’re joking right? He kept us in that game as well.

Although his time wasting against Boro gave them a corner

Should keep his spot IMO

No chance should we fall into this trap. He has done well but not been without mistakes. His booting it upfield was pretty poor against Stoke. And at his age his career is only going in one direction. He should be treated as backup and we should be developing Jakub (and using Asmir's experience as part of that).

I agree.

Even if some of his strengths do outweigh Jakubs, you've got to show faith in your No.1, especially when it means developing them.

The reason you get people like Begovic in is because they are happy to fill in here and there and be dropped instantly upon the return of the person they are standing in for.

We're paying for his experience, you only have to look at Scott Carson & Man City for an exaggerated example.

It's not a trap, Jakub has been poor at times this season too so he isn't untouchable, will do him some good if he's out for half a dozen games and will hardly damage his career.

It is. Jakub has been outstanding at times - as a GK learning he is going to make mistakes. You will find the longer you play Begovic the more mistakes you will notice.

Lets use him for backup and to help develop our no1 choice and academy keepers.

Jakub will come back in when he is fit.

Begovic has, unsurprisingly, proved he is suitable back up.

He'll have had his contract topped up nicely with unexpected appearances and probably now means we can let Vietes have a go in the FA Cup.

All in all, things have turned out okay with this injury.

That's your opinion, and I have mine - both have merits.

No better than Stolarcyck. Sticks to his line. Can’t kick. If Stolarcyck had palmed that shot out for their second he would’ve been panned on here.

Another signing I criticised, another signing that was so clearly poor. 37/38 year old goalkeeper ffs.

I found it unbelievable, he seemed just so casual about it. Clearly the defeat doesn’t appear to have affected him like it does the fans.

Symptomatic of many of the players and the leadership and why we are where we are.

That was some of the worst goalkeeping I had seen for a long time.

The supposed benefit of Begovic was the leadership. Wasnt there in the 2nd half.

Beggo has an air of ‘Podcast’ Coady about him. You’ll find him chatting shit on Sky and various international channels covering PL games and he also does some NFL stuff at times. When he’s not doing that he can dial it in at Leicester. His presence hasn’t improved Stolarcyck nor has it improved the team.

His interview after the game last night was a ****ing disgrace. It was the same old sound bites we hear week in, week out. “We need to do better”…”we look forward to the next game, to put it right”. Blah blah load of shit.

I wrongly assumed someone of his experience would be willing to come out and say it like it is. But he’s clearly just another one picking up his pay cheque at the end of the month with no care about how things are actually going. One of far too many.

Seems goalkeeper is another one of those positions where I start to fool myself that whoever isn't playing is better than the donkey who is playing.
