I thought he was pretty good on the whole. Looks composed, decent passing range and carried it forward more than anyone else did.

It was disappointing he got megged but the goal is not his fault and if you're going to hold that against a CB you'll never be happy with anyone.

He is the least of our worries, I just hope we can keep him a bit longer and he continues to improve.

This is the thing, we've got to accept as fans that the younger players will make mistakes and they'll learn/grow over time. Rather they play as they're more dedicated and have a higher ceiling, need to be patient and give them support.

And as fans, its important we don't blame them when it wasnt their mistake.

I agree. I thought he looked comfortable on the ball and carried it forward quite well and some of his forward passing was very good.

Against him is his injury record and the fact that he's not played that much football at this level. However, if scouts are looking at potential then I'd say he would be worth a punt.

A bid of 15 million to test our resolve could easily be incoming from a mid table premier League club. With only 18 months left on his contract we could be in a tricky position if serious bids do come in.

Yes I was thinking he's our next big loss.

Players are leaving us and playing better for other clubs now.

In the past we had the best out of players before they ****ed off.

It's very sad

Not really sure i agree. Was running forward with the ball quickly and pinging to the wingers faster. Felt much more dynamic than Jannik to me. It is his first game as the no1 CB, so early days for sure.

He is way more dynamic but the tactics were the same as the dross that they play every week, getting the same results.  That's coming from the management and what JV has imprinted onto them.  I like him and want him to do well here.  My point was that playing him like JV and the same possession for the sake of it tactics, he is just a quicker JV.

He made some good cross field passes to the wingers, that all stopped after the first goal and normal service resumed. He made some good attempts to drive forwards but the CB doesn't need to be doing that if they passed a lot quicker.

The games he looked the best was when he was next to JV and they played it quick out the back to Skipp and JJ to get the attacks  moving.

He will be a really good footballer at a stable club with a manager and coaches that are able to manage and motivate.

Even more importantly, don't write them off when it is their mistake, as with any youngster, there will be mistakes.

And more importantly have a team and system in place to help the younger players understand their mistakes and learn from them, instead of glossing over and letting them repeat it every game.

Nelson and james are 2 players we can build around. Can we sign james please

Add in Page, Silko, Aluko, Braybrooke, etc and things are somehow not quite so grim. Just hope Marti now trusts in them more.

Looks to be getting better each game love to know how many headers he won .

5 apparently although Im sure there were a few more that he "lost" but did enough to put off the attacker.

(Ignore me that stat is from the other game against Derby earlier this season)

This lad is quality it’s a shame he’s got a car crash next to him most weeks but hopefully when Souttar is fit he can slot in and that surely makes a solid partnership
