Excellent support from Pompey. They are good at their place too.

They were quiet first half. Good following, especially with the KO time, but as expected given they are a well supported club.

I got banned over a year ago for something I didn't do. I used to go to probably 90% of our games and I genuinely don't miss home games in the slightest. To the point I won't bother with a ST when back - unless the ownership changes.

Let’s be real it was f***ing abysmal tonight.

Thousands in attendance every match just turn up, sit there all game, moan and then leave at 70mins.

Preferred it when we had between 22.5-25K on a regular basis tbh.

It’s what happens when there’s a big disconnect between the owners and its fans. No communication as per leads to a club just drifting. What is there to shout about.

Not a single new chant has caught on this season. It’s so stale.

It’s seems impossible now with us. Carranza in particular has a super easy one and James has one also short and flavour of the month tune too. Folk just don’t want songs now.

Two last year which were club focused and not player ones as the turn over of players meant the songbook was ever thinning. The fanbase wouldn’t take to them so now both shelved. Similar the Sway chant that the football league love, we make a two verse version rather than just the chorus. Add in lines on Filbert Way etc and zero take up.
It’s the go to tune at most other clubs right now but just boredom with us.

Terrible home support, just like the players, the fanbase completely gave up once the equaliser went in.

Surprised with the praise for Pompey's fans, apart from a few 'football in a library' style chants early on they went quiet until the equaliser went in.

Got to agree with you Patrick, I stand just behind the lads at the front, maybe the drum drowns out pompey noise but I hardly heard them all night apart from mid way through the second half.

As someone who I speak to last night said, Derby will be the fixture in December at home.. school holidays, local game, evening kick off. If the crowd can’t be up for that one then there simply won’t be any hope..

Its been like this for so long, it's not going to change.

The fans simply don't want it to change.

It’s almost as if all the singers of the upper part of the section need to move down towards the front.. literally there was rows on v and w barely used.. why don’t people use their heads and move down slightly if they want to join in because honestly that middle part of the section is utterly pathetic..

I think it’s been proved multiple times our fans don’t really get up for those types of games either. Nothing will change until everyone is in the same place, like literally every other club our size seems to manage. (Clubs fault for taking the easy option re safe standing)

It’s like it because there isn’t a feel good factor at the club anymore and hasn’t been for years. Again that comes from the head of the club through statements (KP Khun Top) and the club’s intent on going forward. This is what we want to do  !
We plan this or that !
This is our ambition !
The disconnect between the fans and the club is absolutely colossal

There is nothing about the place. No buzz, no build up, a flat crowd who barely turn up 5 minutes before kick off, those already in get a pointless light and fire show. Must have been 10k empty seats yesterday.

A tired fanbase in a tired ground.

Not to mention getting searched on the way in (East Stand near the kop)

Security all around the pitch on 85 minutes for no reason

And traffic bollards outside GoKidsGo delaying everyone on the way back to Aylestone Lane/Saffron Road for no reason!

Just little things that wind fans up, but they don’t care

Why would your reasons mentioned affect the atmosphere?

30,496 was the Attendance and Elvis Pressley is alive and well ! He was seen in McDonald’s after the game

I knew it was going to be flat when it's a Saturday night game and there was about 6 people boozing outside F Bar.

Where else in the country would you find a run down, typical match day boozer that close to the ground that is so empty?

Not saying that particular place is amazing, but it sums up the cliental that go to our games and in turn effects the atmosphere.

Sounds just like North Korea to me - oh hold on a minute that’s how LCFC treat their fans from recent form
