The whole place just bores me these days  it’s the same old, same old, nothing is fresh, stale as

Staying at home is far more enjoyable and costs far less.

I don’t bother these days, it felt like going to a cinema, the only thing that’s missing is the reclining seat. Year on year it got worse.

Something which did tickle me yesterday was when pre match I was sat with the lad, watching the warm ups, looking slowly all around at the surroundings like you do..

there has been much talk how the club can’t do much right and I thought when seeing this it obviously shows..

Each row of safe standing has a letter on the end of the row.. Row U lol

If it wasn’t for SK1 the place would be silent.

That impression can still be formed because the noise from that area hardly travels at all to the other end of the stadium.

Completely !
The whole club is tiresome.
Same tired squad

Disinterested Owner

Same Songs over and over again.

The fact that the atmosphere is poor tells you everything you need to know, and that deep down there’s nothing to get excited about. The feel good factor left this club many years ago.

In conclusion everyone is going through the motions without any drive or commitment and like it’s been said before it all comes from the top !!

Being as close as you can possibly get to the away lot, (Block P and just steps between us and them) I expected more from em.

Their support was seriously poor, being a local derby and all that, probably one of the worst I've seen in along time.

A good few hundred of us out sang, out jeered and won the banter and rage baiting stakes between us. One bloke in his bright orange away shirt getting irate being told all game he looked like a highlighter pen to get back in his pencil case. You'd have thought by his rage someone had just p*issed on his kids. Weirdo!

They became loud at times but really didn't have any answers to "40 years and you've won **** all" I've never known a clubs fans to go so quiet and vacant at a home truth.

One of the loudest they got was after the final whistle with "You're going home to your sister" and that was after the final 10 mins where everyone both sides seemed to sense it was going to end 0-0 so turned the attention to each other but they couldn't handle it/us. Even in mass song or chants or personal vociferous exchanges they just didn't have any answers or comeback.

All in all a pathetic bunch of tw*ts who looked seriously intimidated and outdone by just a few hundred of us in block P. They just didn't have any answers for what our songs, chants and facts about fairly recent successes by us and about them and their shItty club.

I've noticed each home game those of us in block P are getting louder and more vociferous in our songs and hostility towards opposing fans. If Union FS relocated to where we are, right next to away fans, we would have a more intense atmosphere!

What were the Cov fans singing ….something in England, you’ll never sing that.

It was - I’ve got 5 fingers you’ll never sing that in response to our champions of England

Oddly obsessed with singing songs about incest, was the only time there was any volume out of them.

Shouldn’t they have 10?

Imagine chasing a goal to win the game and yet people were strolling out after 90 mins..

A bloke across the aisle from me in SK1 walked out on 80…

Disagree on the first point. They were louder overall in the second half if not the first as well. As for the second point, if safe standing would have been put in place across blocks P to P3, with Union FS centrally positioned and the two Family Areas relocated, it would have created an 'end' and significantly improved the atmosphere. Instead, and as is to be expected, there has been very minimal impact to the atmosphere because of the club's decision not to bring together all like-minded fans, whether that be a full stand in the South or North.

Went in L1 today to get a different perspective on the atmosphere from usual seat (SK1) … thought Cov were decent when they got going but certainly nothing special.

L1 was good only really a handful of times and largely dictated by what was happening on the pitch which is to be expected. Couldn’t hear singing section at all which was a shame but 90% sure this just down to the acoustics. Still can’t get away from the fact that everyone from P, L1 and SK1 GI needs to be together, wherever that is.

I'm becoming increasingly despondent when it comes to our home support. I'm not sure there's enough of an appreciation of just how poor it is given the size of the crowd. The club have had the biggest opportunity since the stadium move to relocate all like-minded fans together, but this unfortunately hasn’t happened.

I think you'll find the U sticker is correct.

It's the seats and the stand that's upside down.

Anyone close to the chap on the SK3/4 stairs in the second half? Looked like he'd taken every substance under the sun and was getting really verbally aggressive with the response stewards.

Five police turned up to scoop him away, though I did enjoy him trying to talk on the phone whilst being dragged down the stairs by two coppers.

Police spoke to some fans as well so not sure how bad the verbal aggression was...

Just like the so called fierce south coast derby this one fell flat, there seems little hope for english atmosphere if derbies are this bad.

0-0 bore draws aren't going to produce lively atmospheres as the game peters out.

Yesterday was only the second time they’ve sold out here, the first was two years ago

Piss poor from a club that considers us their main rivals

Arsenal season before was good too

(3-0) win

Fans react to good performances and results. Birmingham was decent because we scored early and won.

They have a terrible fanbase and always have had. Growing up all I remember was how badly they were supported with empty seats everywhere.

I guess no one could count

I've got five fingers is not a song I'd sing or join in with.
