We didn't play great. But we have an unsettled squad, a new manager and youth players sprinkled in.

 

Our first goal was great, and the assist by a guy who has just turned 17, and the second by a kid who has just turned 16! And Ricardo is back and he scored!

 

Birmingham are like second favourites for the title or something, so its a good win, given the personnel issues we have.

 

Basically, can't we just look for the positives if we win for a few weeks and see if things settle down and improve?

 

My main point is: if we just think the championship isn't mainly very good, it will easy to be unhappy even if we have a good season, where is the joy in that?

However the Midfield and going forward stank.

 

I thought the managers tactics were poor, we constantly tried to play out from the back. I constantly saw the opportunity to release Mavs, should we be little cuter.

Yep…. I’m in the quiet bit, but for the first time in living memory we were way better than the away fans…. A good effort 👍🏼

Today to be fair to the players they looked up for it. If we had a slight upgrade to Skipp and Soumaré then I think we would piss this league again even with Daka and Ayew upfront. I think this may be the first season in a long time where our strikers will not be the top scorers. 

 

Just to play devil's advocate, if Birmingham had someone who could play that final ball then we may not have won that. 

 

Also I thought it was really poor taste by some of our fans booing Dimi. I liked him when he was here, don't forget he has some major competition and still he scored "that" goal and revealed that top which in my eyes makes him one of ours. Worse still was the "Demarai Grey is fuching shit" chant. He's far from our most hated ex players.
