Cremona Trip to see the goat!

I drove to Lombardy two summers ago 

 

stopped in Baune for a night / Menton for 2 nights and then onto Lonbardy 

 

amazing trip 

 

on way back went via Geneva and over under alps

I'm in Bergamo in 2 weeks time. 

Cremonese are at home v Parma.

Train is about 70 mins. Ground is small, 16k, getting tickets could be an issue. We'll see.

Cremonese play Inter away on 5th October, getting tickets at the San Siro might be easier than for a home game

Wouldn’t worry about tickets - their average attendance last time in Serie A was under 12k and that would have been severely boosted by when the Milan clubs and Juve take over the crowds for a sell out

Lots of Italian towns and cities have very little in the way of leisure amenities

Mate sit me by that water with a wine list and a supply of aperitivo and I won't be moaning that there's no escape rooms or ten pin bowling!

You could day trip it easily from Milan rather than staying in Cremona for the weekend. Only an hour on the train.

The police wont be arsed at all.

Ultras might well be though. Stadium politics is huge there.

I can well see a few possibly falling foul due to a possible perceived lack of respect.

This is not the San Siro where you will blend in and football tourists are common place.
