Just woke up from nightshift and can't be ars*d to scroll through hundreds of threads of crap. Could you enlighten who these wonder players are please 🙏 🤔  Thanks.

Yeah, we're expecting to do loan deals today for Julian Carranza an Argentine striker from Feyenoord, Jordan James the centre mid who Rennes got from Birmingham last year and Aaron Ramsey, young attacking midfielder from Burnley who has had some injury issues.

We'll probably have either options or obligations on JJ And Carranza. Not sure about Ramsey.

Joins Matt O'Riley and Thomas Delaney as the oddly-named Scandinavians.

Not really uncommon. Josh King, John Carew, Mohamed/Tarek Elyounnoussi, William Osula, Jores Okore, Kevin Conboy, Martin Braithwaite, Mika Biereth, Mohamed Daramy, Patrick Dorgu, Pione Sisto, Riza Durmisi etc. And that's without the slew of Swedish-Bosnian players (Ibrahimovic et al).

Is there an option to buy?

No mention yet but it might be surprising.

Burnley probably want to see how he's recovered from his injury before they properly give him a value. You never know though.

He has 15 goal contributions across his entire career unless im looking at the wrong player? Best season 5 goals 1 assist as Middlesborough 3 seasons ago. Looks to me like an academy player still trying to establish himself in senior football which is what Page/Alves are.

Burnley were impressed enough by him to pay £14m, there must have been a player there at some point.

Loan with an option sounds good to me, we're never going to get a player that ticks every box and doesn't come with some sort of risk.

I'm all for giving him a chance but struggling to get excited for us going for signing someone who hasn't really played since a bad ACL injury.

Fatawu has looked great since he's been back but Ricardo, Justin and Matty James all proved how difficult it is to get back to the level that they were before the injury and was Aaron Ramsey's level better than Championship level before the injury?

The fact Turfites are quite unsure on this, leaving them short on creativity, and after a good showing against Derby in pre-season, suggests this might be a good loan to make.

All seems very complementary of his ability but in need of game time. Well he's certainly going to have to up his game with lot's of competition. if he can stay fit then this could a cracking loan.

The match against Derby was in the EFL Cup. Ramsey scored a 94th winner and got the highest rating on Sofascore.

Sky Sports News said that Ramsey “will move to Leicester on loan” on their ticker an hour ago but I haven’t seen or heard another update from them since
