Not exactly a priority but saint maximin just cancelled his contract and is a free agent! I’d 100% talk him, he’s only 28 an we have no competition for mav and fatawu because monga just hasn’t been able to add anything. Fatawu in particular needs someone pushing him

One day to do 3 potential signings hahahahhaahahaha. Yeah right.

Rudkin can only do one at a time and needs a week to recover. So I would say we're getting 1

You'd think he could be got on a short term until the end of the season instead of freezing himself out of European options until the summer.

You forgot Hermansen lol

Mukasa, Lascelles, Aribo, Hermansen

You’d hope Mukasa and Aribo are all tied up and won’t take much time or effort

Sammie Szmodics anyone? Ipswich keen to move on.

Would rather him than Aribo as an expensive out of favour player at one of the other relegated Prem clubs.

Yeah mate, thats exactly what we need. A sheffield wednesday player.

I am all for you talking like we still shop in Harrods, but any incomings this window will be from rather less reputable vendors I assume...

Love the complete avoidance of understanding the magnitude of difference between Harrods and Sheffield Wednesday.

Almost like there is nothing in between!

We're in this mess because we keep buying crap players and you're advocating for the purchase of more crap players.

I am doing no such thing. Us, as much as anyone, should be aware of the value to be found off the beaten track. Would go as far as to say that it was our decision to cease to look at perceived lesser markets or locations, that actual contributed to our inglorious decline.

Would love to see a signing the self appointed fountains of knowledge on foxestalk approve of.

We could sign Messi and they'd be people complaining he's too old and we should be signing someone younger who'll appreciate in value.

No, we are in this mess because we keep signing crap players, with poor attitudes and mentality, on stupid wages. I am not advocating for Cadamarteri but signing a 20 year old, for a small fee and low wages is not the same as what we have been doing.

It does seem like you complain about the running of the club yet seem to want us just to sign players from big clubs who will come on top wages.

The way to resolve this is to look at other markets, whether that is abroad or in the football league.

Where you lose some credibility is making comments about how we can’t have a manager from QPR or a player from Sheffield Wednesday. Look at the individual not just have a snobbish attitude. Marti was crap because he was crap. That doesn’t mean every manager QPR have will be. Cadamarteri may not go any higher in his career or he might. But that doesn’t mean Sheffield Wednesday will never have a player worth picking up.

I absolutely don't want to sign players on big wages. Nor do I say we should only buy from Big 6 clubs.

I believe in looking at a variety of markets, HOWEVER in this case specifically Sheffield Wednesday is not the market we should be looking at.

If said player had the potential to go to the top, he would have been scooped up a few years ago. I remember seeing him play the last time we were in the Championship.

Regarding Cifuentes, it wasn't just the fact he was from QPR. It was also what exactly did he do there that was deserving of this job?

I'm asking these questions because our owner and board of directors clearly don't ask themselves these same questions before buying players or hiring managers.

Actually don't think we are in too bad a position so don't get a lot of the panic.

If we can bring in a GK, LB, RB, CB, RW, LW, CAM, DM and a couple of Strikers then we'll easily avoid relegation.
