Love when a london club get a cup upset, the press will try and keep that quiet. But well done Macclesfield.

It was on our national broadcaster's main channel. Any press I've seen have been absolutely loving it.

Crystal Palace must be the most unworthy winners of this historic competition.

Putting out and inferior side thinking this was simply going to be a walk in the park is disrespectful to football, the fans and the FA Cup itself.

Jordan et al should hang their heads in shame.

Well done to Macclesfield.

Erm, Man United in 2000? At least Palace actually entered the tournament.

Pretty big one.

It's not a big one because the ball placement was exactly the same.I'm not saying there's definitely something suspicious but you know my brain struggles a bit when something like this happens. It's too much of a coincidence.

The ball placement was the opposite side how is that the same?  You realise a large percentage will either go low to the right or low to the left.  How can it be too much of a coincidence?

Ball placement in the goal line I mean. Not left or right.

I think you may have Cognitive Bias.  Dare I assume you're prone to believe in conspiracy?  Some people brains are just wired that way.

I can just see it now some shady character getting all the sunderland and everton players together working out 120 minute draw and then a terrible shootout that will make people like yourself question the validity of 2 premiership teams playing in the 3rd round of the FA Cup.

Out of all the games on at this time, I'm so glad my sports channel chose this Man City game

Man C always seem to go strong in the early rounds and usually get a lower league side at home .

We don't realise how lucky we are with the FA Cup when you look at other countries' cup competitions. There are very few sports, let alone football competitions, where big boys are routinely humbled as they are in the FA Cup. Every year it injects a bit of genuine drama and joy into an increasingly boring, sterile and aloof sport, and any fan, Leicester or otherwise, who states that they don't care if their club progresses should pack up and go and find another hobby.

No doubt at some point in the coming weeks/months Pep will mean about the number of games, tired squad etc etc. He didn’t need to do that today. He didn’t need to go out to humiliate them 10-1. If he doesn’t whinge about games later in the season, ok, fair enough.

They always get lower league teams at home. Salford last season if I recall correctly.
