Yeah sure, this worked well for Spurs. You can't build anything without solid foundations. Kane and Ratatouille would have been a total disaster.

Those are the type of signing Fergie would make though, that's why they was so good.

Lacey summing up the malaise that pervades United. A foul that could have been a red on its own, then a total loss of both discipline and understanding of the laws of the game ("what for?").

Fergie never relied on this kind of transfers. He was signing "alternative" strikers and he was supporting them with specific technical youngsters on both wings whilst having the old school badass midfielder to intimidate.

Pleased to see United go out after their offside winner against us last season.

Problem is that they kept saying Liverpool's decline would never happen to them.

Both Darren Fletchers absolutely gutted.

Despite hearing the sadness in his (the commentator) voice on the cusp of them losing, he said 'this could be the end of their season if they don't find an equaliser with a minute to go).

I get they're shit right now, but they're only 3 points off 4th and have a mildly realistic shot at getting enough for Europa League.

Man Utd should rebrand under Wetherspoons FC. This is the state of the club. A business milking money from sheep offering horrendous quality live product on site.

They got their heart cut out Withaspoon :D

The BBC commentator so nearly managed to mention the '21 FA Cup winners in the Tottnum vs Villa match when Youri was subbed on. Something along the lines of 'of course, Tielemans has his own cup history'. So close but managed to stop himself in time. Must have brought him out in a cold sweat. Phew.

Heard a lot about him this season, mainly West Brom fans moaning about him leaving on a free, but this Reyes Cleary looks very handy!

Another good draw for Macclesfield.

Birmingham v Leeds and Burton v West Ham will probably be on.

Boring generally though .

Hull v Chelsea might be on with it being Rosenior?
