They gave us way more space than I expected to be fair, we just didn't really create enough with it.

I like the look of Carranza, he was working with scraps but his positioning looks excellent.

Draw was probably fair, pretty flat game overall. Two teams which cancelled each other out. Mavididi had the best chance but made a mess of it, looks completely shot of confidence. Carranza had some nice touches when he came on. Hopefully replaces Ayew soon as he was absolutely garbage. We're going to need to be a lot more clinical if we want to go up

Overall we played well, glaringly obvious we will not go up with Ayew up top. It was never a good idea was it. Will wait to see what Carranza brings but not signing Kone was a mistake I feel.

So have coventry?

So that negates your point unless I've misunderstood?
I said Coventry today were nowhere near as good as they have been in previous games, you then seemingly countered that by pointing out they have had an easy start which explains the amount of goals they have scored/how well they have played, or was that not your point?

If it was, then surely pointing out the fact we have had just as "easy" games as them, shows that Coventry were indeed "off" today compared to previous matches.

I’m struggling to see what players score 10+ goals

Neither Carranza or Daka have been properly tried yet. You can’t see it because Ayew changes the complete dynamic of the team when he plays.

I mean he spent more time in our own half than he did up front, you’re never going to score goals if you’re doing that.

Regardless of his desire to fight for the ball, he seriously harms the offensive part of our game. If we played an actual striker, our more creative players will have a chance to attacking players to actually gain momentum and create more chances.

Ayew is a major problem for us.

Where was the pressing from the front that Marti spoke about so often?

Our system right now seems to go wide and hope one of our wingers does a piece of magic.

I’m far from Marti out but if you start players who can’t press, then that’s on him.

Pressing didn't happen today agreed, but entire system today seemed pretty apparent to put the wingers in 1 on 1 positions or chances to run at their fullback.

Completely agree with all of this, despite not thinking Ayew has played bad overall, I think he's done well if his job was to hold up the ball and slow the game down and help us control the tempo. Sadly though he often breaks down our attack before it's started albeit he does have flashes of doing the right thing.

If Carranza is decent and he can start and score us 20 goals this season, Ayew is the perfect player to come on when the opposition are building into the game to really slow it down and regain control of the game. As an out and out goalscoring striker Ayew just isn't it.

Daka has been tried and failed miserably in his time at the club.

The best football I've seen us play for a long time to be honest.

Some of the build up play was a joy to watch!

I also love the fact that James looks to play forward 90% of the time.

Winks, Fatawu, James were all superb today.

I also thought the same.
