I never been to Millwall away, but I remember the reputation they used to have.   Is it as rough as it used to be?  My 16 year old wants to go with 2 friends, and we only have 3 season tickets so I wouldn't be going.

Doesn't sit right with me that fans are caged in for like 30 minutes after the final whistle. Even if your teams playing poor and battered 0-4 and want to make quick exit your forced to stay.

You can get a train to South Bermondsey and walk down coward's alley directly to the enclosed away end. It's probably one of the safest away grounds in the country, given you don't have to see a home fan all day

I've been three or four times, never had any trouble really.

I think because of their reputation it actually makes it one of the safest games.

Better to get the overland and not the tube if going by train to London.

Been twice to millwall and never had any issues. I think it’s one of them if you don’t act like a twat then it’ll generally be ok. Not the best of aways though. Went on the tube both times to south Bermondsey and never had any problems. Last season south Bermondsey was closed midweek after the final whistle so had to walk 20 mins to the next tube station but that was hassle free. Like someone has said only real issue was that enclosed walkway after the game where you’re caged until the home fans depart.. won’t be going this year

Does that actually happen? Never seen that at any english aways that aren’t a massive derby

Millwall they do, your held back. The excuse they said is because the train station is at limited capacity and they can only let so many on... but really it's because they want to get home fans away first then all that's left is the away supporters.

We got it the time it went nuts in the cup, pretty sure we have not had it since from memory.

Those prices, wow :nono: Went there twice 23/24 and, I might be wrong, but don't remember them being that steep?

As others have said, it's a pretty sanitized experience these days. Hopefully reaches members, never seem to have any luck in the ballot.

Millwall is the one ground I’m a bit skeptical about visiting as it’s me (mum) and my 16 year old daughter. We don’t use official travel but use underground etc. Am I being a tad dramatic and worrying about us not being ok?

I go as far as saying it is the safest ground in the league. Trouble finds those looking for it.

Went the last couple of seasons.. considering millwall won the game last season and it being midweek, it was so tame it was unreal.. just don’t wear colours but it’s mostly fine now..

I've been twice, 30 years apart!! It was so different last year in the cup.

I also took my daughter and we were fine, we chose not to wear colours but had a good walk around the home end, saw the lion mural and actually had a chat with Millwall fans while eating. No issues, you'll be fine
