Toxic squad?

A club culture starts from the top and works down. Our owner has caused this by getting too friendly with the players and allowing the players to speak to him which can undermine the manager. The new training ground should have been a catalyst for us to attract top players to excel at state of the art facilities and instead it's used for a jolly where these overpaid wasters can be pampered. A strong owner, strong dof leads to a strong manager who can instil discipline and professionalism amongst the squad. We have none of these things.

Soumare, Faes and Vestegaard seem literally uninterested and I genuinely think it would be best for the club if they were all allowed to leave on a free if they can find another club.

pretty much what I had in mind, except I would have a back 3  , Ricardo, Nelson, Okoli,  Mid: Winks, James, Page, Ramsay, , Front: Fats, Monga, Evans, ......Risky yes, but we are going nowhere at present and don't deserve to be other than down the table, put the emphasis on attack and lets see what we can do, watching the current lot pass sideways or backwards is giving me nightmares

Yes they struggled but it was easy to get behind them at that point.

It reeks of bad attitude’s, throughout on and off the pitch with their “can’t be bothered” mentality, egos that do what they want to do and there’s no respect shown to the owner because he doesn’t command any whatsoever ! He’s doesn’t have any stature, charisma, a presence or anything at all. Just a rich play boy who wants to ride his horse and play polo so therefore if he doesn’t bother why should I

Fully agree, the issue with that is that our recruitment of senior players has been garbage for years. Even under Enzo, who on the whole improved the squad, our marquee 'experience' signing was Connor bloody Coady.

 

It's yet another one you have to go back as far as Pearson to find faces who meet the criteria. Morgan, Huth, Cambiasso weren't just quality signings - they led by example and helped improve those around them.

 

Struggling to think of players in that mould under anyone to come after who have fit the bill, though admittedly a lot of our old guard stuck around a long time (Vardy, Fuchs, Big Wes, Albrighton all here well into the 2020s). Ricky is probably the only one but he's only a senior because he's been here for ages!

They're proffesional footballers (allegedly) big money is a motivation to perform at the highest standards possible, yes they were given stupid contracts by management but the players who are not giving 100% regardless of wage should be ashamed.

James and Ramsey although loan signings are the types of players we need but we want to get rid of the manager already how to build anything if we keep chopping the manager ?

You only have to look at the comments on the BC Game statement from the supporter groups to know what the overall response to a boycott would be. KPFC fans are still the majority group.
