Nigel Pearson would be amazing if he is well enough.

If not I would like us to find someone from a lower league like we used to with Little, McGee and O'Neil.

He'd be ill again within 5 mins of seeing the state of the place. Should probably come with a health warning.

I suspect they're hoping King has a flying start and they don't need to do the hard graft of scouring the managerial market. I kmow some clubs have these things lined up for if/when the event arises, but i genuinely doubt our club even know half the managers available?

Ill just put this out there to show people where we are: too expensive.

Are we about to get Paul Inced?

If Nigel came it would be for completely the wrong reasons. Every English job he’s taken has been a project, and he’s that sort of manager. This club is structurally not in a state to be a project, so if he was offered it and came back it would be because of his heart telling him to, which would be bad. The absolute last thing any of us Nige worshippers want is for him to ruin his legacy at this club.

I’m not confident club leadership even have the interview or appointment process fully nailed down yet, so I’m cautious about taking ITK claims at face value — especially after our last appointment. But if someone knows who our next manager will be or even who the new technical director is, by all means I'm all ears!

I've long wanted to see a series done of what's become of the likes of Martin Jol, David O'Leary, Billy Davies etc. I'd go for a manager not seen hide nor hare of in decades.

David O'Leary what a blast from the past, literally forgot his existence, he was pretty good too.

But why? Does Rudkin have links to the KGB or something?

It’s obviously way more personal than that. He needs to step up and be ruthless and if he can’t sack him - move him into KP elsewhere. It’s all tied up in trust and his fathers death in my opinion.

I might be a cynic but this all feels like a convenient distraction from the need for new player signings. We'll win Saturday and Kingy will be allowed to carry on indefinitely. No new signings, no new manager....  no money.

There won’t be any signings and no manager at a current club will be appointed.

Bring back Nigel!

Dear Nigel

We hear you nearly died back there? Glad you're on the mend. Would you like to come and manage us again? Things have gone a bit pear shaped around here, but once the inevitable points deduction and relegation have been cleared up, you'll have a solid bunch of experienced players to work with. They're crippling the club financially and don't want to be here, but things will sort themselves out.

Let me know. Oh and you'll be reporting to John Rudkin.

Look forward to hearing from you!

Regards

Billy Davies was coaching at Greenock Morton last year
