dooflip Posted 7 February Posted 7 February Pearson would obviously be ideal. Also think Dyche, Parker and Skubala would be fairly wise appointments. I don’t like Scott Parker though, he just irritates me.

beepee1984 Posted 7 February Posted 7 February I'm sure this thread is meant for realistic replacements No one wants to work with our board In the summer the best we could find was Marti, it has got worse since then We don't need a manager with Championship promotion experience We need one with relegation battling experience in the championship, one that is not afraid to drop the Prima donners & not someone how has got their managerial career from their playing career One that gets shit cleared And with this squad, probably a manager with League one experience and rebuilding a squad from nothing with nothing 1
Popular Post moore_94 Posted 7 February Popular Post Posted 7 February Dyche, Parker, etc. won't touch this job with a barge pole They know they would have a chance at much better jobs that come up 5
Rubbersoul Posted 7 February Posted 7 February They were hoping King won a game so they could just give it to him. Bet they still don’t have a clue 2
Popular Post JimJams Posted 7 February Popular Post Posted 7 February How long does Dyche have to keep failing before he's in the same bracket as Pardew and Curbishley? Tried his best to take Everton down, and is now doing the same with Forest. A decent spell at Burnley seems to have solidified him as some sort of sure thing, despite that ultimately going to shit in the end too. 5
KFS Posted 7 February Posted 7 February Parker can organise a defence at least. Christ, what has it come to?
fleshdaddy Posted 7 February Posted 7 February (edited) At this point, I don't think it matters who comes in, I honestly think you can put a fork in us, because we're done. You reap what you sow, and Top and Rudkin have allowed this to happen. It's gross incompetence and absolutely unforgivable. Vichai must be rolling in his grave, these pair of absolute cretins have dismantled everything he built. Edited 7 February by fleshdaddy 3
Popular Post Chelmofox Posted 7 February Popular Post Posted 7 February No evidence we have even spoken to anyone. Go into Saints game with 0 confidence and an interim manager who is nowhere near the standard. Scandalous they didnt have someone lined up. It was obvious that Marti was failing. 5
coolhandfox Posted 7 February Posted 7 February Looking forward to us wasting another home game without a manager. 4

Did the same when Rodgers left. Stowell and Sadler for two ruinous defeats v Bournemouth and Villa. Although we were faffing about trying to appoint Jesse Marsch
winteriscoming Posted 7 February Author Posted 7 February Just get Mowbray in until the end of the season. 4
adamkhalifa Posted 7 February Posted 7 February The Pepball experiment is over. Almost 8 years of decline. We need a complete reset. Play the league, like the position we are in currently. A lower Championship side. And going even lower. I want a young, up and coming manager with an incredible low league record. Someone on here mentioned Dave Challinor. Yes please. 3
LinekersLugs Posted 7 February Posted 7 February We had a top class manager already here last summer and we let him go now Cardiff will likely come up as we go down he was here all the time as I said at the time letting Barry-Murphy go might be a mistake 1
Iwebema Posted 7 February Posted 7 February I honestly believe that now Kingy has shown he isn't ready (like most of us knew) they will only just begin the search. We just wing one decision to the next 1

JimJams Posted 7 February Posted 7 February It's perversely kind of becoming less and less important to bring in a manager when we have experienced players giving the opposition goals and getting red cards. We're a career killer at the moment. 1
Tuna Posted 7 February Posted 7 February What happened to the Dean Smith rumours? Board was lit up with this yesterday!

Trouble is it isn’t the ‘Leicester’ way of playing, it’s the ‘Aiyawatt & Rudkin’ way of playing. As a club we have always been at our best when we have played a high intensity style. Again more revisionism by the owner and Smithers trying to gaslight the fan base into believing this is the Leicester way. 3
Mista_cle31 Posted 7 February Posted 7 February Smith and Skubala would require compensation, also with Lincoln City being in the position they are, I can't see Skoobs leaving them. Russell Martin is just a willy puller, plain and simple. As for the rest, who stands out? No one! If they had any wits about them, they'd beg Nigel Pearson to come back and save their season and to enable them to repair the damaged relationship they have with the fans.
wardyfox86 Posted 7 February Posted 7 February This is the 2nd most important appointment in Top's reign. He botched the most important 1 when we took too long appointing Dean Smith to save us from the drop. Continue as we are, I don't see where another win comes from until April. Get it wrong we go down anyway. Christ knows who will come in and change our trajectory, I have zero faith in the right man coming in promptly.

It will be a manager who is a free agent
Claudio Fannieri Posted 7 February Posted 7 February Aiyawatt just get it done tonight bury your stupid pride and if Jon Rudkin has to be sidelined then so be it. 1
