read: Rudkin's spent the last two weeks trying (unsuccessfully) to get a hold of Graham Potter again without realising he's the Sweden manager now

We joke,  but there’s a real joke that our shortlist was just the only managers Top and Rudkin are aware of

Enzo

Dean Smith

Potter

Martin

If you’d have offered this 4 games ago, I’d have said no… but I’m absolutely gagging for an experienced manager now!

First sensible comment!

A man that’s been available since sacking Cifuentes. Genius.

Yes but would he rather be a manager out of work or managing this shambles.

It may have been him and a whole lot of narcotics that held it up

I mean , it’s a no-nonsense appointment with plenty of championship experience ,  worked with and raved about Ben nelson @ oxford – builds a defensive team so clean sheet incoming  HA!  – it’s going to a tactical challenge out players have been (tying to!) play more total football roaming midfielders but then its not really worked out has it, I guess he will be pragmatic and need to be as our options players wise is limited any way. Was not my first choice but then I was happy with Marti, so what the fu@k do I know!  Played for the club – if it’s him, I’ll get behind him 100%

Can we just take a moment to appreciate how hilarious it would be if Gary Rowett has said "they're about to make a really ambitious appointment" and it turns out to be him lol

About as good as we could have hoped for, given the mess we find ourselves in.

If he can produce an organised defence with the absolute tools he's got to work with then he can have the keys to the city.

So all those people saying we could have had Rowett the day after sacking Cifuentes, you'd have beem fully behind that appointment at that moment?

Really?.... like really really?

No, we don't want him.

But he is the lesser of the two evils, Andy King has no managerial experience.

Doesn't matter.

What other club takes 3-4 weeks to hire an interim or permanent manager after sacking the previous one, mid-season? Just further emphasises the club have no plan and they're just seemingly winging it.

so the original plan was for kingy to have it for longer. In the mean time they were negotiating for someone  and they were happy  to wait for his decision. Ultimately he said no.  Back up was then needed.

Leicester fan TV is such a funny channel. They're not happy and they wanted a Sean Dyche to come in...that wasn't ever going to happen.

not as stupid as Thomas Frank but yeah it was a real long shot - he is off to the beach to spend fatso's cash then take a promted team next season or Burnely

The original plan for King to have it for longer should have been a non-started. He should have been in place for 1 game, max.

Again, it just goes to show the lack of foresight, forward thinking or forward planning from the club.

We are specialists in delaying.
