Travis Head could be a great choice, if he gets off to a start he could win this for them. Equally he will give you a chance.

If he gets in, it's game over.

At least the Aussies now need the highest score of the game to win it.

It's now a question of will they be as poor & can England replicate their bowling effort.

They’ll see this off with ease.

Trying not to be too reactionary, but this test feels so pivotal in the context of the series- fear we may end up looking back at that half an hour after lunch today as where we threw the ashes away.

Do think whoever wins this likely wins the series

If we do lose this, I just don't see how we come back from it mentally.

The manner of the defeat, after being so brilliant with the ball yesterday, would be galling. Could end up being 5-0.

Like Langer just said, going to the short ball approach here is such a weak mindset. Pitch it up and aim for the stumps ffs. You have 4 85mph bowlers.

Yeah it's been terrible to watch, we seem to do this far too often

Definitely. Lose this & the confidence will probably ebb away. Rumours are that Hazlewood may miss the 2nd Test, but this Series could get messy once again. This game was England's to win. I just can't see us scoring enough runs going forward.

Hazlewood missing won't matter- Starc, Boland and Cummins more than enough for us.

So frustrating. As you say, we had it in the bag at lunch. Just bat properly, wait for the ball to soften then cash in. Don't try and drive Boland and Starc when they're on the money and zipping it around.
