Shouldn't be able to continually try and change the ball like this. It's taking time out of the day for paying customers.

 

The laws need to be changed to allow 2 opportunities to ask for the ball to be looked at with a reset after 80 overs.

 

I've been watching for about an hour and they must have asked 5 times.

Another day of inconsistent England cricket. Horrible start. Fair play to Crawley for getting through the new ball as he must've been feeling it but then as always he's gifted his wicket, I do think his height goes against him sometimes with wickets like that.

From 5-2 to 200ish-4 is a decent effort but we could easily be 230 all out. Need to have a good evening session.

47 overs in two sessions of play is pretty poor. Expect the ICC will be having a word about that.

It’s hard to look at the averages as there has only been 3 day night tests at the Gabba - one of those a very poor Sri Lanka team only made around 150. 
The only test of the 3 Australia were beaten the West Indies made about 320 and won by less than 10 runs.

We’ve put ourselves in a good position here, but we’ve got to take advantage and I think we have to bat out the night to stand a chance.

Good player but does seem to have that ego where he does what he likes no matter what the situation is .
